Upgraded from a flip to a fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold because I find myself doing more with my phone than any tablet I have. It's just easier. So I'm experimenting with the phone as a tablet substitute. So far it's fine but I do wish the screen. Was a touch bigger. Ideally I'd like to forgo a case...BUT I think the next best thing is a robust insurance policy! I wish the bump out for the camera was thinner as well.

Great small phone BUT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone came 2nd day air at no expense to me. Way smaller than I thought it would be. Camera is excellent. Speaker volume is low as with all Samsung phones. If you have small hands this is NOT the phone for you, when open it is slick and slips easily. Now this review is written by a user that has had a Z6 phone
and yes its a "brick" but you pictures are larger that the Z8 and I am an artist that uses the Z6 to show off my work, and the Z8 has a much smaller screen. I'm guessing the up and coming Z Tri Fold will suit my needs better.
All in all it's a great phone as is all Samsung phones.

We understand your concerns regarding the size comparison between the Z Fold6 edition and the newly released Galaxy Z Fold8 edition. The inner display is almost half an inch better, and the Z Fold8 display, when folded, is about a couple of centimeters bigger as well. While the phone is thinner overall, it has increased in size.

Great upgrade from the fold 6

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the fold 6 since it was released 2 years ago. Decided last year to hold off on getting the 7. I chose to get the fold 8 at 1st but wanted to instead get the fold 8 ultra. So glad I did, the screens are huge and I love it so much. Only thing I wish was it had lighter pastel colors to choose from.

Excellent productivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and it's easily the most productive phone I've owned. The larger inner display is the standout feature—it gives you so much more room to work without having to pull out a laptop or tablet.
Reading and responding to work emails is much more comfortable on the big screen, especially when reviewing long email threads or attachments. The larger display also makes typing much easier and more accurate because the on-screen keyboard feels less cramped than on a traditional smartphone. Writing longer emails or messages is noticeably more comfortable.
Microsoft Teams is also excellent on the Fold. Taking Teams calls while referencing notes, emails, or documents at the same time is incredibly convenient thanks to the multitasking capabilities. Performance has been fast and smooth, and the large display makes web browsing, reading PDFs, and editing documents much easier than on a standard smartphone.
That said, the Fold isn't perfect. The front cover screen can feel a bit cramped, especially when typing or using apps for extended periods. App optimization is also still inconsistent. For example, Facebook sometimes has elements that get cut off, and some apps don't scale properly on the inner display. Instead of taking advantage of the larger screen, they occasionally appear stretched or use an awkward aspect ratio, which takes away from the otherwise premium experience.
Overall, it has been a great experience so far.
