Great device, but falls short.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 ultra because of the enhanced features over the fold 8. It's disappointing that the ultra is still a skinny device when they could capitalize and making this device essentially a slab phone that opens. Additionally, battery is still behind competition, cameras are behind competition, charging capabilities are behind competition, and worse of all, they still don't have built in magsafe into the phone??? You have to buy a special expensive case for that to work. That's unacceptable. The cameras are vertical, so almost no wireless battery packs work, because of the camera. Why aren't we making it horizontal? The selfie camera on the cover screen is fine, but it's distracting when unfolded. It seems unnecessary to have a selfie camera on the inside, so that should be removed or use the under the screen camera you use to have. It's a good phone, with great UI, but they are not the best around anymore.

Loving the form factor and the agentic features

I develop android apps, am a Sound Engineer and have a lot of Gemini integrations around my house. this is great choice for all of those things. powerful large screen for a mixing tablet. Powerful AI integrated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy z-fold 8 Ultra is amazing! Its thinness was mind-blowing. The larger battery has already proven to be a huge upgrade. The display is incredible, and the camera is amazing. There isn't literally one single bad thing I can say about this phone. If you're undecided, just jump off the fence and order it right now!
