[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's sleek and thinner than ever. I love my new phone. The screen looks bigger than the fold 6. I got an excellent rebate on my trade in. My only complaint about the phone would be the price. I chose Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra because it's the best.

I am truly glad that I decided to purchase the Z8 Ultra. I have always loved the Samsung product lines, from the beginning of the Note series until the S26 Ultra.
My job requires me us to use another phone brand, and I hate it. I have asked my job if it is possible to order Samsung phones. And they are considering it.

The Samsung fold8 ultra is a dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fold8 Ultra is my first folding phone, and I absolutely love it. The inner screen is big, allowing for someone who sometimes feels the screen is too small for inputting data into sheets or has to read the fine print; more space to view.
I chose the fold8 ultra because of the cameras and they do not disappoint. I'm super happy with my decision.

Good quality build but little innovation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is an extremely well-built phone, and the overall fit and finish feel appropriate for a flagship foldable. The hinge feels solid, the displays are excellent, and the thinner design makes such a large device surprisingly manageable. The improved inner display coating and reduced crease are welcome refinements, and the larger battery, faster charging, upgraded ultrawide camera, and newer processor are all nice improvements.
My biggest issue is that very little about the phone feels genuinely new, especially coming from the Fold 7. The overall shape, 6.5-inch outer display, 8-inch inner display, and general camera layout are extremely familiar. Performance was already excellent on the Fold 7, so the faster processor does not dramatically change everyday use. The large camera bump is also still there (it feels slightly bigger), and Samsung continues to leave out features like S Pen support and built-in magnetic Qi2 support that would have helped justify the "Ultra" name.
The Fold 8 Ultra feels more like Samsung refining an already good design than pushing foldables forward. The improvements are certainly appreciated, particularly the battery and display changes, but at this price I expected a more substantial generational upgrade. It is an excellent foldable on its own, but Fold 7 owners have relatively little reason to upgrade unless they specifically value the battery, charging, camera, or display improvements.
