Easy to use with a wide variety of drink selections

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were very excited to try this coffee maker. We made sure to use it multiple times for a detailed review. Let’s break it down to pros and cons.
Starting off strong with the pros. The maker itself look intimidating but is actually very easy to use. The fact that it does both ground and whole bean (grinder built in to the maker) was very convenient. The variety of drink selections and step by step drink instructions are brightly displayed on the screen making the use of the maker very simple. The profiles are a cool aspect, as you can save the cup size, the amount of scoops of coffee & ice amount, so you can make your signature drink seamlessly. The hot and cold frothers are different colors of black and white so you can use the proper one, and have different frothing levels (I’ve been a fan of the cold selections). We have a smaller kitchen, but the coffee maker doesn’t take up a lot of space at all. We also liked that it would alert you when it was time to clean the machine or frothers.
Now to the cons. Honestly the pros weigh out the cons, but nothing is perfect. This doesn’t work for travel mugs over 20oz, but we just used 2 cycles and a large coffee mug for that so it was no big deal. While the set up was easy, the water testing strip didn’t work, it would have been nice if they sent two instead of just one. The machine can get a little noisy with the coffee grinding and frothing, that didn’t really bug us but it could for someone else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wowzers! Where do I start ? I love this espresso machine! I couldn’t imagine a life without it. Easy to use, literally the screen tells you what to do.
Easy to clean, and you can set it to self clean. It’s got the whole 9 yards.
Don’t have coffee beans? that’s fine. Ground coffee works just as good.
My personal favorite feature, is the steamed milk! Love my cappuccinos, and expressos especially for espresso martinis!
The water reservoir holds a lot of water, with a filter for the water. All around my favorite most used appliance on the kitchen counter! l recommend to anyone and everyone that listens to me brag about this.

It makes it for you without having to know exactly how to make every drink. Very quick and convenient with little maintenance.

The last coffee machine you will ever need to buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DeLonghi MAGNIFICA DUO is a GAMECHANGER! It's a coffee maker and much more. I'll start with the style, it looks amazing with just the right amount of shiny chrome and black color offset. It's a very clean looking machine with great lines. Note the controls are on the front top, slightly angled. This would most likely be best viewed on a normal height (belt high) countertop but my coffee area is on a higher bar counter. I'm tall and have no problem utilizing the buttons and display screen. The buttons are great and will not wear out as they operate just by touch. No physical button to depress to operate a physical switch. Very future proofed from my point of view. At first, the machine looked very intimidating but all of the steps are laid out very well and logical! If you don't have the instruction book handy, the display screen helps you through each step in an easy to understand flow. DeLonghi truly cares about the coffee produced from the machine as they even include a water test strip so the machine can adjust to your water hardness. They do include a replaceable activated charcoal water filter that fits in the water tank to help with taste.
I'll start with the Espresso as that's the main beverage I make.....I used Jura Espresso whole beans and poured them into the bean tray on top. No issues there and it's covered with a sleek lid. Once you turn on the machine, it automatically goes into heating mode and flushes the lines with about 1 ounce of water. The drip tray can hold almost 4 cups of liquid before spilling and has no problems catching that rinse without splatter. I just choose to use a different cup and pour the rinse water in the sink as the tray is a bit tricky to clean and it cannot go into the dishwasher. One of the best features is the telescoping coffee spout! It can adjust to the cup height to eliminate splatter and keep the drink from mixing if preferred. Experiment with the bean strength and preferred size for all drinks made as there are many combinations. Once you are done with making your drinks and ready to turn the machine off, it will once again flush the lines with hot water and an ounce or so will come from the spouts. I keep the same drip cup near the machine as to pour the rinse water in the sink.
I also love the iced latte coffee and I prefer the espresso beans to the standard dark roast for that. The cool milk frother has a dial to adjust, what I call, the "foam intensity". And finally, the drip coffee feature is also available. It produces a cup of coffee on the XL setting, which I'm still trying to figure out what setting combination will fill my travel mug. There's a great option on top to add ground coffee in case you prefer something different than whatever beans you put in the espresso bean hopper.
Overall, I love the machine! It's so so much better than those pod espresso dispensers. It has transformed my coffee habits for the better and I love the options available! I've been reading blogs and the machine is fixable so if something does break on it someday, you can probably fix it. DeLonghi has truly hit a bullseye with the MAGNIFICA DUO!

Game changer on how to make coffee with different options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am total new to esspresso machine like this one. We used to have a basis filter and a pot filling. This is a game changer to our daily routine. This machine with features: effortless intial setup, wide variety of pre-programmed recipes, the touch screem makes everything easier than other brands, and the footprint small enough does not take entire countertop. The espresso is so rich and smooth with the dial and strength settings on the grind. Versatile hot and cold: the hot and cold foam is amazing. You can make everything from Americano to Latte to espresso. This machine save me time to make coffee in the morning with the coffeer shop quality.
