[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee machine has been a game changer in our household. I used to spend money on fancy lattes at big name coffee places, but now I can make them exactly how I like at home. There are separate profiles you can set up so your favorites are ready to go. No more scooping coffee grounds, it does it all for you. It tells you exactly when it needs to be cleaned and walks you through its cleaning process step by step. The carafes come apart easily and take no time to hand wash. The machine has been used a minimum of two or three times daily since early June and it’s made a perfect cup every time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine was so easy to setup. It provided step by step prompts. It cleaned the system and gave prompts to install the filter. I chose the drip coffee. The machine grounded the beans needed for the one cup of coffee. At the end it asked to save my preference to make it easier next time I brew a cup. Took less than 5 minutes to make a perfect cup of coffee! This has quickly become a favorite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little intimidated at first when I unboxed the machine. But once I read the directions and started the process of the first coffee it really was easy. I loved the selection they give and how easy it is to scroll through. It made the perfect iced latte with the frothing of the milk. I actually used coffeemate creamer and it turned out perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this espresso machine by De’Longhi! I love the multiple options for beverages that it has and the fact that you can set different things for three different profiles. That way me and my wife can have our favorite drinks saved! It has quite a large water tank and I like that you don’t have to use a filter unless you are using unfiltered water. The included test strip lets you know how hard your water is if you’re using tapwater. I love that it has multiple maintenance options in the menu so that you can perform different types of cleaning as needed. The machine is super easy to take apart for cleaning after using it each day. I like that there are two separate attachments for cold milk, and hot milk, but my wife is on the fence about that part. Probably because she used to be a barista so she’s used to using a real steam wand and not these attachments so she has no control over the milk except for the few settings it has. I like that the coffee spout can be moved up and down so you can pull the shots directly into your drink cup or you can pull it down to put your shots into shot glasses. It’s easy to empty out the grounds as they get dropped down in a little puck shape so it’s not super loose all over the place. The hopper fits a good amount of of espresso beans. I also love the fact that since it can make brewed coffee and iced coffee, there is a slot that you can put in preground coffee so you don’t have to utilize the espresso for those drinks. Overall, this machine does everything we could want and a little more! We are coffee obsessed over here and will be building a collection for things to add to our coffee soon. Also, it is a decent size and not overly huge. I would compare it to maybe a large air fryer so it doesn’t really take up that much counter space which is also fantastic especially if you plan to have other small appliances out at all times like this machine. If you’re on the fence about it, just go get it. You won’t regret it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy this De'Longhi espresso machine is to use. It makes rich, smooth coffee and delicious milk drinks with minimal effort. Perfect for everyday use.
I’ve had this about a month now. I especially like the hot and cold lattes. Drip coffee takes an extremely long time, which is a little disappointing. The drip tray seems to fill up really fast. It is very easy to use, but I’m not sure in hindsight if I would spend this much money on it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am going to start off by apologizing: I am not hip to espresso lingo, so I will likely use the wrong words or terminology.
I have been an energy drink person for years, though I have dabbled in coffee shop drinks and instant coffee at home. I wanted to venture into brewing better coffee at home, and this seemed like a good opportunity to do just that.
Where to begin? After opening the box, I was a little overwhelmed. There are a bunch of components for the milk frother. I was a little concerned about how washing all the components was going to go, but luckily it's all pretty straightforward, with clear instructions in the manual. A good portion of the components are dishwasher safe, but that is a luxury I do not have at this time, so I was glad that cleaning them by hand was easy. Everything is very well made—nothing feels cheap or flimsy. It feels like a very durable machine. It isn't tiny by any means, but it doesn't take up much more space than a regular coffee maker.
The machine walks you through some basic setup steps when it's first powered on, and I was up and running in no time. This machine has a bunch of different preset options, and it's going to take me some time to take advantage of all of them and hone my brewing skills. It also looks like there's a great community around this brand with plenty of helpful videos.
I was nervous about making my first cappuccino with the milk frother, but it was surprisingly easy to set up and use, and it turned out pretty good. There are so many preset options that it almost feels like a waste to mainly make espresso and cappuccino drinks, but that is my current comfort zone, and I am enjoying it. I know I'll branch out eventually and maybe find a new favorite setting—or even customize my own, which is also an option.
I was also a little concerned about how loud the bean grinder would be, but it's really not that bad. What surprised me were some of the other noises the machine makes. When it's processing water, it makes a sound that my wife compared to being in an MRI. It's not obnoxiously loud, but it's definitely not silent.
All in all, I am very pleased with and impressed by this espresso maker, and I look forward to all the drinks I'll make with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the De’Longhi Evo for a while, I can honestly say it’s one of the easiest fully automatic Espresso Machines to get started with. The setup was surprisingly straightforward with detailed instructions on the screen of the machine. After unboxing I filled the water tank, added whole coffee beans to the hopper, adjusted the strength to my preferred choice and ran the initial rinse cycle. The quality of the “coffee” is stupendous for the price range it’s set at for purchase. Temperature is always the same everytime I brew a cup. The cleaning is also much less of a chore than expected since the drip tray, grounds container and brew unit are all easy to remove and rinse. The only “cons” I would have to say is as follows.
1. Grinder can be a little loud while the beans are being grounded down. 2. Water reservoir is a tad small so frequent use needs more attention. 3. Drip tray fills very quick and need regular emptying.
