Does Not Meet Expectations

This humidifier is supposed to humidify a medium sized room which, as specified by Blueair is 500 sq ft. I bought one for my 350 sq ft family room and it wouldn't raise the humidity over the low 30's with the setting at 50%. I now have two of these in the family room and the humidity today is 45%.

Good machine

Still trying to get it regulated to the correct humidity levels. That's becoming a bit challenging but getting there. Machine is in a bedroom and maybe to much machine for the size room...But it works for sure!

Poor reliability

In less than a year the water pump module is no longer working. It first started to not recognize when it was filled, but was able to fix that by cleaning the contacts on the pump inside the module. A couple months later, the pump still recognizes when tank is filled but pump motor itself is shorted. I’ve always used filtered water from the refrigerator to fill the unit as well as clean the fill tank periodically to remove any scale. The wick has been replaced once as directed by the app. This is extremely disappointing, especially since no replacement parts are listed / available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The humidistat is pretty useless, as you would expect since it’s right inside the unit pushing the moist air. If you ignore that and the auto feature it’s just fine.

My new apartment has been unbearably dry, and this humidifier has completely resolved the issue. No more snake skin and nose bleeds! It’s easy to operate and clean, and has been working like a dream. Best humidifier I’ve ever had (and I’ve owned a lot over the years).

Quiet easy to use

We have been using humidifier for about 2 weeks. It is so quiet, I was concerned at first that it wasn't working. The machine is easy to fill and clean. Being able to use tap water is a huge bonus!

This company sold me a faulty product

Basin is full and below the max line and yet the humidifier “low water” light comes on every time. I shouldn’t have to troubleshoot a brand new device every night before using. This product hasn’t worked the entire two weeks I’ve had it. I will never purchase another BlueAir item ever again, I believe this item didn’t pass QC (there’s no document to certify it did like with most small appliances) Oh and now my order can’t be found via the return system, how convenient....

I have tried humidifiers over the years both mist and mist free.Without exception the model H35i is far superior to any other humidifier I have ever used.It performs as the manufacturer claims.I would recommend it to anyone.
