Great AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old outdated AC for this new Frigidaire 18,8000 BTU Window Air Conditioner and what was I surprised. At first glance I didn't expect much from it but after using it for awhile now my mind has changed. It's so powerful, it can cool a room in a jiffy. Plus it is so quiet, you can barely hear that an AC is on. It makes sleeping at night so much better, it allows me to breath the air in and makes me snore less.
It's a little bulky but once it's set on the window you don't notice the size. The power compensate for the size. I can now enjoy the warmer weather even more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a chance to see this unit in action. I have played with the features from Heat to Cool to fan only. I even purchased the additional HEPA filter for the unit. What an amazing difference.
Heating: Its in our house on the ground floor which is about 1k SQFT. Its not open concept but we have a fan blowing from one room to the other. We set it to 66 degrees to keep the house warm. Not only does it keep the room comfortable but it keeps the whole ground floor comfortable. Its not overworking itself and is very quiet. Its like a hot air furnace but with the hepa filter attached you can smell the difference in the air. its amazing.
Cooling: boy does this unit get the room chilly quick. We had a warm day and decided to fire it up (so to speak). It cooled down right away. The vent adjustments were great and really directed the air. We opened it up to fresh air from outside with the lever and it was just great. Not loud and wasn't running all the time. It turns on auto on its own to make sure the temp remains constant.
Fan Mode: This was great on a day when it was nice outside using the open vent and the HEPA filter bring some fresh air inside while also filtering the air inside the house to just give the house a nice crisp fresh air feeling circulating it around.
There are no downsides to this at all. A+++

Sturdy Effective AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this AC. It's well made, easy to set up and cools quietly and efficiently and ir does so very fast! It was easy to install and connect to the app and the display is easy to read and easy to navigate.
I especially appreciate the sleep mode because while I don't mind running the AC as I fall asleep I don't want to pay for excess electric and the timer helps ensure that my unit isn't running unnecessarily. The eco setting is also beneficial in this regard as once the room hits the targeted temperature, the unit goes into rest mode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great AC

Easy to set up but did take two people due to the heaviness of the unit. Typical directional vents to force air in the direction of your preference. Programable to increase energy efficiency. This also doubles as a supplemental heat source so it makes it even more versatile. Runs smoothly and is fairly quiet.

Great Performance, But Noisy at Startup

Once that was taken care of, the unit performed exactly as advertised.
It cools our large barn space efficiently, even in the Florida heat, and has strong airflow that makes a noticeable difference. However, my wife complains that it can be a tad noisy when it first cuts on. While the noise isn’t a dealbreaker, it’s something to consider.
Overall, this is a powerful and reliable AC unit that gets the job done—just double-check your power setup before purchasing!

Solid Cooling Power with a Few Quirks

Connecting it to Alexa was a breeze, and voice control works smoothly without any hiccups. That smart feature definitely adds convenience.
My only complaint is the weight—it’s pretty heavy, so installation might need two people. Also, it can get noisy, especially when the radiator kicks on. I’d recommend placing it in a room with less foot traffic, like the dining room, so the noise doesn’t become a distraction.

So easy to install

It fit perfectly in our window. My husband did have to install a 220 outlet so if you don’t have one nearby this unit you will need to install one. This window air conditioner puts out some very cold air. We love that it comes with a remote and that it also has a heater. I love that it has a filter light reminder so you never forget to clean the filter. I love that it is super quiet when it’s running. I have already started recommending this window unit to family and friends.
