Terribly disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is way too loud and disturbing. Was difficult to fit in window, wish it had a lower speed setting so maybe it wouldn't sound like a jet engine coming through the window. Overall dissatisfied and would not recommend, would not buy another Frigidaire window ac unit. I feel it should be replaced with a better quieter one by Frigidaire. Not a satisfied customer.

Note that poor installation could be the cause for certain sounds, as well as the AC is simply being too loud. Verify that the unit is installed accurately. Please also keep in mind that the fan speed can be selected among four settings: Auto, Lo(Low), Med(Medium), and Hi(High) unless the unit runs in "Auto" or "Dry" mode, or the Sleep feature is activated. If your AC is making sounds other than those listed on page 5 of your Use and Care Guide, please let us know. Pretty Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used the unit a for a couple months and so far it is working well for my needs. The one thing I did notice is that the case metal is definitely thinner on the newer models than even the Frigidaire I bought 2 years ago. I can flex the vent areas pretty easily.

I purchased this ac and left it on a whole night and it does not it won’t cool my house I had it on cool at 62 degrees my fan is way better my old ac from twenty years works way better I am returning this crap highly upset!

Easy to monitor temperature.

Powerful AC for a low price
