This printer is crappy. It never connects to my laptop easily. I should have just bought a cheap printer to connect with a cable. I thought maybe the ink would last longer and that proved to be the least of my problems. Read the reviews and found out that everyone has issues with connections. Note to self...spend more time next time reading reviews. This is a piece of junk and the second HP printer I bought..issue with the first HP printer was an issue with the ink/carriage not moving & I waited too long to open before returning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate this printer. EVERYTIME I try to print it's offline I tried everything that is recommended to do and it still is offline

It was defective. I could never get the printheads installed because the carriage did not move. I found the online help minimal at best. I wanted a printer that would lower the cost of ink which was the reason I selected this printer but it was a waste of my time.

Printer has been quick and easy for set up. Still trying to figure out how to print in larger paper size (i.e. legal size), could be just a setting I’m missing to check or set up but the printer has been good for what I need up to this point.

Easy to install and use, except for the awkward envelope feed. A top feed would be far easier to use than the current removal of the paper and top tray, along with the hard-to-reach feed guides. While printing on paper was good, I had to call hp to get a tech to install a driver that cured the fuzzy printing on envelopes.
