The HP Smart Tank 6001 replaced two printers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking for replace two printers for quite some time. One HP color and another brand. Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised by the HP Smart Tank 6001.
Based on some challenges lifting weight, I was concerned about set up. I was able to slide the printer out of the box without help due to the considerate package design. My older HP was heavy, so this was a concern.
Setup continued to be simple and the instructions were extremely easy to execute. I had some concern about filling the tanks with ink, but again, filling the ink was a breeze. The bottles snap on so not to worry about ink getting everywhere on everything.
There is a print head install, and I had no issues downloading and installing the software. I have an HP account and the Bluetooth feature picked the new printer right up. The HP app makes printing, scanning, faxing, and easy task to accomplish.
On the physical printer, the scanner works great and scans are high quality resolution. The printer is fast and extremely quiet. I have a kid that has to print a lot, but hates the noise. He’s asked to move the printer in his room!
The printing is clear and crisp, nothing is distorted or blurry. Im always concerned with print quality, which is why I’ve had two printers. I have printed several work presentations, kids papers and docs for review, approximately 400 pages on total, and surprisingly, the ink hasn't visibly dropped. This is wonderful, as I’m always feeling like I need more ink.
The controls are simple and easy to navigate for adults and kids. Overall, I over the moon happy with the HP Smart Tank 6001 and will be purchasing another one for my kid at school. I’d highly recommend!

Great printer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had an HP all-in-one printer that was a few years old and starting to lose its marbles: It constantly removed itself from the wireless network, the print quality was sub-par, and the paper frequently jammed. So I was thrilled to receive my new Smart Tank 6001 all-in-one printer! It was pretty easy to install, although I was a bit hung up on the ink installation, which took more force than I had anticipated. But considering it was a different process than I'm accustomed to, it just took a bit more time. I've printed several projects so far, and I've been thrilled with the speed and quality of the printer. Unfortunately my printer removed itself from my wireless network, so I have to use it with a USB cord connected to my laptop. But I've become accustomed to that and perhaps I just have a weak network. However, that's my only complaint and love the printer overall!

Impressive

Both of my children have quickly begun utilizing the printer. My oldest daughter for printing and proofreading her essays and homework for school. My youngest daughter loves the ease of being able to find pictures on her iPad and sending them off for a quick print. The set up process for this printer wasn’t nearly seamless. Setting up account and following along with the app for instructions on how to get everything going and filling the printer with ink is very easy and user-friendly. My only drawback was that when I was filling the smaller bottles from the full bottle in the printer, I was worried I was pushing too hard and I would break something. The last thing I wanted to do was clean up, spilled black ink all over the inside of my brand new printer. I needed to push a bit harder and it began to transfer the ink. Printing from my iPhone would not allow me to change the size of the print out like my previous printer, but I need to look into it a bit more. I really enjoyed all of the templates and pre-created options I had on the HP app. Printing is very quick. Something tells me I’m going to need a case of paper instead of a ream at a time.

The Perfect Printer? Yes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned many printers over the years and this printer is absolutely the best of all. The Smart tank system is easy to use, and much more cost effective then the standard cartridge system. The prints look great, the colors are vibrant and the technology is second to none. What I enjoy most is the versatility of wifi printing, which works great from my Macbook, as well as my phone. I typically focus on 3 aspects, easy of use, technology and future costs. In this all of these criteria it has performed and presented perfectly. If you are on the fence regarding purchasing this printer, its an easy choice. In my honest opinion, Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Great Home & Family Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say I am surprised by how much use we've gotten out of this printer, in the few short weeks that we have had it. One of the best things we've used it for, so far, is to print out coloring book pages of things that he wants to color. Also, we had an unexpected return that needed the return label printed, which made me thankful for having a reliable printer.
The connectivity of the printer has also been great - it has been simple to find when printing things from my phone or from our home laptop. The prints themselves come out looking great! The colors are vibrant and the images are clear. Even when my son wants to scan a picture from a book he got at his preschool that week, it comes out looking impressive.
My husband said the setup was easy, too, so I would all around recommend this for anyone looking for a family/home printer. I'm also happy with the ink-tank system, which allows us to see how much ink we have remaining. Even after letting a 4-year old print out lots of pages, I haven't seen any of them dip yet. The included two-years worth of ink seems to be a fair estimate.

Great Printer, Easy Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently set up my new HP Smart Tank 6001, and waited a little bit after receiving because I was worried it would be time consuming to set up. It was not. It was such an easy process and walked me through every step to get it set up. Set up was seamless and such an easy process to get completed. They also provided me with a link so my family could easily get the printer set up on their devices. It was probably the easiest printer I have ever set up.
Now on the printing, I am amazed at how fast it prints, and still delivers amazing quality. The colors print so vividly and bring out the best in my pictures. It is easy to print directly from my phone, so I can print pictures as soon as I take them. I enjoy that I can print double sided pages and print out like a book so I can use less paper but still have everything I need printed. I love that the ink is so easy to be refilled and so much more economical and cost efficient. Also, I can see what my levels are at, so I don’t have to guess when I am going to run out of ink.
While I have not used the printer as much as I would like, I know that it prints high quality documents every time I have hit print. The printer definitely exceeded all the expectations I had and would recommend to anyone looking for a printer.

Responsive and Affordable Ink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP Smart Tank 6001 is an upgrade for me. My old printer was slow to boot up and the ink cartridge was pricey. On the other hand, this printer boots up quickly and I can print quickly. Another plus is that the ink will last longer than the cartridges on my old printer. It also prints double sided without having to flip the pages which is a time saver.
I haven't used this printer much yet but so far I'm happy with the way it performs and the way it looks.

Sleek design, works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this printer looks in my office and even better it prints great. Wasn't hard to get it connected to my laptop, phone and iPad. So now I can print all my work docs and kids can print all their art work and coloring sheets! The color is vivid and it's awesome that the ink will last as long as they say it will. Great printer especially for the price.
