High Quality Prints, Low Effort Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In total, it probably took me 20-30 minutes to completely set up my HP Smart Tank 6001. The "ink tank" technology/feature is newer to me, but appears to be a good system for keeping ink 'fresh' while not having to rely on cartridges so much. The instructions are very clear and the bluetooth/wifi connection was easy to navigate/establish. Be sure to place this on a sturdy surface, as it, like most printers, can create some internal force while moving the printheads.
This printer also prints quickly and the image quality is perfect for the needs of a typical household. From printing potential return labels, school project materials, and work documents, to scanning things for homework assignments, this printer is perfect. One very minor thing that I noticed, compared to older HP models, is this doesn't seem to have any sound notifications when the print you've sent is completed. However, the image quality is great and even from a scanned source, you will be happy with the results.
Lastly, I am excited for the all-in-one tank-to-printhead feature. As this was new to me, you essentially fill up larger "ink tanks" and those directly feed to the printheads, which normally you see as "ink cartridges". I wasn't sure if that would be a messy process, but it wasn't at all. The instructions provided were very clear, with color-highlighted imagery, and made the process incredibly smooth. I also enjoy how you're able to see the remaining capacity of any of the ink tanks, directly from the front of the printer.
Please be sure to read the directions on how to MOVE the printer. This could easily be overlooked, and appears to need special handling, compared to what others might have needed to do with older printers.

Fast and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new HP Smart Tank 6000. It was easy to set up and connect to my wifi. The ink bottles are large and will last much longer than a normal ink cartridge. It's nice that they're recyclable too. I like that I can see through the window how full each ink is and it shows how full they are on the app. When I printed for the first time, it was fast and easy. My old printer took about 5 minutes to print and I had to carry my laptop to the printer to connect it, but this one just prints instantly while I sit at my computer. The print quality is very vivid and nice. I wanted to turn on economy ink printing but couldn't find it anywhere in the settings. I'm excited that it has automatic double sided printing so I don't have to flip the pages manually like with my old printer. I love how the app has all the information you need about the printer and you don't have to hold onto any paper manuals. It also makes it convenient to buy new ink directly through the app. Overall, I like the look of this printer and I'm so excited to finally have a wireless printer that saves me time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed the easy set up via the included manual ir app. I installing the ink was easy and no spills, then the printheads first you remove the protective plastics and you can hear a snap when placed correctly. Downloading the app was also an easy set up that allows you to print where ever you are an excellent feature. Adding the printer to my laptop as my default printer was also easy, Just clicked on add printer it recognized the printer via Bluetooth and printed a test page. All happy and set up with no worries about ink for Two years. Let me add the speed of printing is fast ,thus all in one feature printing photos,copying,printer scan, shortcuts , my favorite is the camera scan use my phone to scan and edit turn print amazing, there is also a mobile fax too I yet to use. I’m all set just need ink in 2 years thank you HP.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer is very easy to setup, and I love how easy it was to fill the tanks with ink bottles. The design is very cleaver, it was not messy at all and you can easily discard the bottles to the recycling bin. I also love how easy it was to connect the printer to my wifi, and also to my laptop and cellphone for remote printing. The print speed was quick with great quality prints. Overall I feel this printer exceeded my expectations and I will recommend this to my friends and family when they shop for a new printer.

This thing is brilliant, I have printed 300 photos of my kitchen renovation from my phone!, on wifi!, how convenient is that?, no computer necessary and only used a 1/4 of the ink, and without a hitch, so in reality 1200+ 4x6 photos is possible , definitely superior technology as compared to the old cartridge systems. Wifi setup was a breeze with the hp app, I highly recommend this smart tank series of printer for any print job you may have, be it photos or documents or what have you.

Quick and easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Smart Tank 6001 had an effortless setup. Using the printed directions to start and finishing by using my phone and the HP app made setting it up stress free. I was able easily place it on my Wi-Fi network using my phone. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the print heads install separately which would make it easy to fix printing problems years down the line if the heads go bad. I have not had a chance to print a ton with it yet but, the test page and calibration pages printed well without flaws. The scanner worked well in the calibration process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am over the moon for this HP All-in-One! It was so much easier to set up than I had expected and I was printing in a heartbeat. I have used it for a variety of projects in just a month from brochures for my business to stickers for family, gift tags, and projects for my Master's degree courses. I was slightly skeptical about the number of pages professed to come with the printer, but it is still going!
The quality of printing is easily adjustable for drafts and stunning and crisp for a finished project. I am so pleased at how quiet it is. The size of the printer is also perfect and fits conveniently into shelving without taking up too much space or being an eyesore. There is so much to love about a printer this smart!
