This printer has some noticable system glitches: related to unsubstantiated errors; when using the printer for ID cards! It allowed the scanning of the first side; but not the second side of the document;before kicking into errors!
The after printed collection tray was designed; too small! The extension is too short! Papers extends over the top;and is not properly seated;

Setting up the printer required several hours. When asked to provide a password, I was not informed if it were a created or existing code. After hours of frustration, I finally resorted to the Modem-Router password and it worked. Why put consumers through such unnecessary torture? Clarify what is required. This doesn't have to be rocket science.

Wow spend all this money and it says it has duplex printing. I would assume it has duplex scanning NOPE . I replaced an old HP 8600 since ink was getting crazy expensive. That machine is better than this one and it is at least 6 years old. It scans faster and it does duplex scanning. I guess I will have to keep it around just to scan and email duplex documents with many pages.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
