[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm loving this HP Smart Tank printer! It's a printer but so much more. I'm able to print one side or two sided, scan, copy or even fax. I really appreciated the fact that this came with more than just a starter set of ink. Up until now, every printer I've bought has only come with enough ink to get started and I've had to immediately buy ink for it. It's so nice to have a printer that I don't need to immediately spend more money. This was easy to set up and connect. I'm loving being able to effortlessly print right from my phone. The colors are bright and don't smudge and are not blurry. The black option is a crisp black print. This is able to print 2 sides without having to reinsert the paper. It's just automatic! The touch panel is easy to use. There are ink sensors located right on the front of the printer. I can easily see at a glance how much ink I have. When I need to add ink, it's as easy as can be. I'm also really liking the USB port located on the front when I need to connect my laptop to the printer. I no longer have to pull out the printer and fumble around trying to find the USB port. I feel like this HP printer has really tried to make every aspect of printing easier.

Welcome to the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest complaint about HP printers was always difficulty setting up and staying connected. Well with this printer, I've got nothin'. I almost called customer service when I couldn't find the quick setup instructions in the box, as a matter of fact, there was only one sheet of paper in the box, with specs and such. I finally gave up and plugged the printer in, and pushed the power button. Low and behold a small LCD screen appeared out of nowhere and gave me a QR code to download the HP Smart app, I downloaded the app on my computer, but you can also use your phone, and the app guided me step by step through the setup, from adding the ink to installed the printheads. Everything worked perfectly, it worked even faster with my wife's Macbook. I'm sold on this new HP functionality, The print quality and speed are what I have come to expect from HP, almost laser printer fast for a black-and-white document. It's also quiet, no more shaking of the desk when printing, I've forgotten I was printing a few times. I'm very impressed, and I'll probably take another look at their laser printers when I build out my office later this year. I highly recommend it.
