[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having bad experiences with printers, this printer was really easy to set up, and kind of fun. You just squeeze the ink bottles into each section, and you’re done! It was easy to set up with my WiFi, and my favorite feature is that I can print straight from my phone. It prints anything I need within seconds. Overall, it’s a great printer for simple and everyday use.

Almost Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer has almost every feature that I could want. No longer have to worry about replacing the ink cartridges in middle of a project. I do a lot of printing in spurts, and it is great to know that the printer is always ready for me. Mobile printing is great, and works well from my Android phone.
The print quality is great, and everything I have printed was perfect. The ink lasts a long time (still at 100% for all colors!!). Also double sided printing is a great feature and is much more environmentally friendly. The printer even waits after printing the first side while the sheet dries, before pulling it back in to print on the other side.
The reason that I am calling it almost perfect, as that it really needs a document feeder for the scanner. The flat bed does a great job, but you are limited to one sheet at a time.

You have the option to connect it to your computer or use a device and follow the instructions or refer to the manual. The refill process is hassle free thanks to spill bottles. Setting it up through the QR code was a breeze; I used my phone to set up the Wi-Fi connection using the HP app seamlessly moved from one step to another once each task was completed. Filling the tanks was quick and mess free while attaching the print heads was effortless. Excellent printer. Fast and quiet. Prints pictures fast and with great quality. HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Print, Scan, Copy, Wireless. Automatic two-sided printing. Print speed up to 12 ppm (black) and 7 ppm (color). Whether it's scanning, copying, or printing, this machine does it all with unparalleled efficiency. This printer is a good value and prints well for its small size. I would recommend it to any one for home use, it is a good value for the money.

Economic printer worth the frustrating set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HP's Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Printer has overall been a great printer for our household. The only frustration that I experienced was in the set up. I don't feel like the instruction booklet included or the app fully walked you through what you were supposed to do. I fumbled for quite a bit to figure out how to get it all set up and connected to my WiFi and computer. Once that was done though, I have been pleased with the functionality and quality of prints. Things come out slightly wet at first but dry quickly. I really love the ink tanks and the fact that they should last a couple of years. That completely eliminates the frustration of having to buy ink so much like we are used to. This printer is extremely cost friendly and I'm looking forward to using it for more printing projects.

Great color printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set this up to use with my computer and phone wirelessly. I did need some help from my husband especially with the phone set up. Overall it took about an hour and half to do the complete set up. It works smoothly, quickly, and prints clearly with great color. Very small display window, most actions need to be done through the app. If you don't mind using the app, and I don't, it works great! If it delivers as promised with the ability to get as many prints as quoted it's a a great deal!

Recommended for family and professional use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason, I use a lot my phone to print work related information as I work remotely, or to print personal documents. I use my printer almost daily and I had an old HP for many years (exactly 10 years). My old HP printer started to act out and I really wanted to see what’s the deal with the new tank printer.
While doing my research, I saw that the amount of ink used will still be the same, but the ink stock you have in those tanks is way bigger.
I was curious and I tried to use premium photo paper, let’s say it didn’t work (Or I am not using it properly, which can be the case too). As it is not my primary use, I will continue to let professionals print my pictures, I am not removing any stars for that. On the contrary, I printed some pictures on good-quality paper, and it was pretty good. For crafts, it is perfect.
Size-wise, the Printer is larger than what I used to have. Larger but lighter. The printing is fast, and more importantly, the quality of the scan is amazing with a resolution up to 1200x1200 dpi (And scanning is super-fast too!). I am working on a side project where I must scan some very old documents and I can get a nice printing resolution on those documents.
After a few days of using it, I didn’t see any changes in the volume of ink. Time will tell if a full tank lasts 6 months to a year. So far, I am very satisfied.

The print quality is outstanding. The ink installation is very easy and not a drop spilled with the design of the bottles. I highly recommend this printer for home or home business use.
