An excellent choice

The quality and speed of printing is very good, the ink consumption per sheet is minimal, making it economical to refill the tanks. The power to print on both sides of the sheet automatically is an excellent advantage. In truth, it is highly recommended since All the qualities offered by this printer are maximized.

Great printer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had an HP all-in-one printer that was a few years old and starting to lose its marbles: It constantly removed itself from the wireless network, the print quality was sub-par, and the paper frequently jammed. So I was thrilled to receive my new Smart Tank 6001 all-in-one printer! It was pretty easy to install, although I was a bit hung up on the ink installation, which took more force than I had anticipated. But considering it was a different process than I'm accustomed to, it just took a bit more time. I've printed several projects so far, and I've been thrilled with the speed and quality of the printer. Unfortunately my printer removed itself from my wireless network, so I have to use it with a USB cord connected to my laptop. But I've become accustomed to that and perhaps I just have a weak network. However, that's my only complaint and love the printer overall!

The HP Smart Tank 6001 replaced two printers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking for replace two printers for quite some time. One HP color and another brand. Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised by the HP Smart Tank 6001.
Based on some challenges lifting weight, I was concerned about set up. I was able to slide the printer out of the box without help due to the considerate package design. My older HP was heavy, so this was a concern.
Setup continued to be simple and the instructions were extremely easy to execute. I had some concern about filling the tanks with ink, but again, filling the ink was a breeze. The bottles snap on so not to worry about ink getting everywhere on everything.
There is a print head install, and I had no issues downloading and installing the software. I have an HP account and the Bluetooth feature picked the new printer right up. The HP app makes printing, scanning, faxing, and easy task to accomplish.
On the physical printer, the scanner works great and scans are high quality resolution. The printer is fast and extremely quiet. I have a kid that has to print a lot, but hates the noise. He’s asked to move the printer in his room!
The printing is clear and crisp, nothing is distorted or blurry. Im always concerned with print quality, which is why I’ve had two printers. I have printed several work presentations, kids papers and docs for review, approximately 400 pages on total, and surprisingly, the ink hasn't visibly dropped. This is wonderful, as I’m always feeling like I need more ink.
The controls are simple and easy to navigate for adults and kids. Overall, I over the moon happy with the HP Smart Tank 6001 and will be purchasing another one for my kid at school. I’d highly recommend!

Finally a printer that prints!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally I have a printer that works!! It print’s perfectly. I was amazed at how fast it prints and on both sides! No flipping the paper to have that done either. The ink tanks are so helpful with not constantly changing ink! This also means even color and no striping. This printer was also very easy for me to set up and only took a few minutes. I haven’t had any issue with printing from my phone, tablet, or computer. The kids have also enjoyed the ease of printing. No more waiting on the husband to connect the printer either. This has been a great decision made to add this to our household.

Fast, efficient and simple setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer has become indispensable for my work. This is a really good printer, the color pages look very professional, bright, and flawless. Setting it up was quick and pretty easy. The wireless printing is my favorite part since I can print from my phone or tablet, which is so cool. The best feature is the smart tank that allows me to print a lot on one tank of ink. No more cartridges or toners yay! The speed of the printer is fast, and filling the ink was easy. It hasn't jammed or had any errors. Love the size of the printer and it fits perfectly on my desk. I highly recommend this brand!

Excellent All In One Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a replacement for my current printer. I was thinking about another brand with the same concept of the ink tanks. I have always been happy with this brand since I have owned 2 laptops from the same brand. The printing is clear and relatively quick. The set up was very easy. The big bonus will be how much I will save on throw away inkjet cartridges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP Smart Tank 6001 has been an excellent addition to my home office. The ability to print on both sides of a page is critical in many of my projects for resource management as well has organizational use. Ink use has been solid, very efficient. I have had one case of the printings coming out off angle on a smaller page print, but the paper was smaller than 5x7 which is smaller than the recommended size of the machine. Improvements could be made to the chassis quality, stronger material would be better, but that's the cost of the budget price tag. I would recommend the product to anyone looking for a consumer friendly and cost effective printer for home use.
