Great printer, except for one big exception. The output tray does not self close. Why on earth they have it so it stays open unless you hit a couple buttons manually is beyond me. Worst case, after X amount of time, it should close automatically.

happy to say the Epson EcoTank has been delivered. After using it for a few weeks, I've got some thoughts to share for anyone who's tired of constantly replacing cartridges and looking for a reliable, cost-efficient printer.
My Experience needed a printer primarily for work-from-home tasks printing documents, some occasional photos, and even some projects for the little ones. This Epson Eco Tank 3950 stood out because it doesn't use traditional ink cartridges. Instead, it has refillable ink tanks, which drastically cuts down on ink costs. I've noticed:
Super Low-Cost Printing: The biggest advantage is the ink savings. This model comes with enough ink to last up to 2 years, depending on usage (about 4,500 black-and-white pages and 7,500 color pages). The refill bottles are much cheaper than cartridges, so long-term, this is a huge win if you print a lot.
• Simple Setup and Wireless Printing: Setting this up was quick, and I was able to connect it to Wifi in no time. Wireless printing from my phone and laptop has been seamless. No more fussing with cables or having to print from one device!
Fantastic Print Quality: For a printer in this price range, the quality is solid. Text documents are crisp and clear, and photos, while not quite professional-grade, are vibrant and
good enough for personal use or small projects.
• Compact and Space Saving: I don't have a ton of space in my home, so I appreciate how compact this printer actually is.
Overall I am more than happy with this printer and can only recommend this with the highest praises.

Love that this printer has two sided printing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using printers with ink cartridges for many years. This is my first time using ink bottles. This is so much cheaper that buying ink cartridges and it’s actually fun to dispense the ink into the ink slots. I’ve also noticed that it doesn’t use as much ink as my previous printer. No paper jams so far! I can also use my smart phone and tablet to print out photos and documents, without needing to use my laptop every time. The best part is that this printer has automatic duplex printing and scanning capabilities.
