I'm a believer in Eco Tank now!

I've been using this printer for a couple of months now & I'm pretty impressed with its' function. I had a project that required many sheets of black & white pages, and the speed & quality of the printing was excellent. I also produced a number of color sheets. I'm now a believer in the Eco Tank product. After hundreds of printed sheets, the black ink level is still more than half-way full & the color inks have barely moved. I did buy a replacement black bottle "just in case", but I can see it'll be a long time before I'm going to need it.
I bought this printer a year ago. Every time I try to scan to my laptop, I run into issues. I have uninstalled/remove removed from the laptop, the software and reinstalled multiple times and still have issues. This is the most frustrating printer scanner I have ever purchased from Epson.
Other reviewers are correct that this printer ET 3950 is way too hard to set up. I spent so many hours looping through the set up and getting error messages I was set up for WiFi when the WiFi icon was dark. Or it didn’t recognize my network or couldn’t find the printer. I randomly was able to use it when it didn’t make sense. My local WiFi company suggested I use an Ethernet cable to hookup the printer to the router and that quickly solved the problem. We liked our previous Epson tank printer so here’s hoping this one is reliable too.
Horrible. Maybe a lemon, but horrible double sided printing

Bought today. First big print job of 100 pages (200 double sided) — 20 of the pages jammed, now every single double sided page jams. It prints the first side fine and then the backside the printer seems to suck it in crooked and then jams. Returning tomorrow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I opened the box and began setting up the printer and everything went super well until I tried to print from my computer. We've been working at printing for 4 hours and haven't resolved whatever the issue is, and we're familiar with computers and installing printers. I'm worn out and will try again later.

I upgrade my Epson ET-4850 to the ET-3950 because the ET-4850 was producing a vertical line when copying and printing from the automatic document feeder (ADF). I check and clean everything in ADF and could not fix. I love Epson Super Tank printers and decided to purchase the ET-3950. The ET-3950 is a big game changer, the ADF work perfect, door tray opens automatically when you print and close when you turn off the printer, and no more touch screen. The print quality is the same as my old ET-4850. The setting up the printer was easy to follow. I am happy with my new printer ET-3950.
