ADF never worked

Setup was reasonable, and scan and print seemed to work well. I purchased the refurbished version, and apparently they never tested the automatic document feeder, as it never worked. I spent hours troubleshooting with no success.

The setting up was fairly easy. On the automatic document feeder it terrible- it never scans the first page- on most of the sheets it will leave the middle of the page blank and then it will feed several thru all at once. If you can stand there and do it one at a time its fine. I am not happy with it

Beware

I have had this printer since the spring. It suddenly will not print. I run the errror connection software and nothing helps. At this point it's a rather expensive paperwork. I have even attempted to connect using the USB cable and nothing works. Avoid this--it's not worth the money.

I spent half the day trying to get this printer to work. First it wouldn't connect to the internet. Finally I got that to work and downloaded the driver to my Macbook. It shows up in the printer dialog box but it won't print. The printer makes some noise but nothing comes out. I won't be buying reconditioned again. I own two large format Epson printers and they were a lot easier to set up.

Just purchased the ET-3950, after much research. I wanted so much to away from the $40.00 cartridges. After about an hour of following the instructions, downloading the app, charging the ink tanks, I couldn't be happier. The setup was very easy, the desktop, laptop and phone were all reading the printer and printing whatever I could send it. Very nice to have a mid level printer, that doesn't break the bank considering: Auto-Feed, Auto Duplex, no short lived cartridges, no problems with moderate volume. Very glad I went with an Epson Tank.

not assembled as ti should. plastics were out of screw hole, loosing and broken part, screen with some scratches, no film protection on it... also the cover print head basket was loose, not right assembled, which caused continues messages of lift the scaner tray and take out all packaging inside... but there were nothing to take out and dont let me to seutp the printer... later i found that problem with the basket, take the screw out and assembled right... then it let me continue wiht the setup.....

I was excited about this printer UNTIL I put in some 8.5 x 11" 65lb cover stock that you would use for an invitation, poster or thank you card. Guess what, it's pretty much impossible to get a blank sheet through and having multiple errors? So very frustrated with this Epson et-3950 printer purchase, who makes a NEW printer that can't print anything heavier than 70lb paper!

TERRIFIC PRINTER/SCANNER/COPIER

My Epson ET-3950 All-in-On is absolutely outstanding. It is my second Epson in the last 10 years. The print quality is outstanding, clear colorful print outs, very reliable. The control screen is initially a little tricky, but easy to learn. No more ink cartridges and the ink seems to last forever. The price is very reasonable and I couldn't be happier!
