I bought this today….doesn’t easily connect to my MAC OS 15.4….After setup print quality was poor….can’t scan to computer….What’s the point of this frustrating experience…..

I bought this a few days ago and I am not computer smart. I am 72 years old and I think the install instructions for this product are terrible. Everybody assumes that WIFI and internet connections are always working. Long story short it took me 2 1/2 days to get this printer connected to my computer. I expected a cord from the printer to the computer, I expected a disc with the printer, that didn't happen. I probably wont purchase your printer for my company when I update printers in a few months. If I can't do it why do you think employees can do it. Please don't send me emails about product or information. I feel this process should take no more than 5 minutes start to finish and it should start and stop with INSTALL DRIVERS.

Set up was fairly easy even though I do not have a wi-fi router. I wanted to use my cheap paper for the set up but the printer will not feed it through, it jammed every time. For me, this is a minor issue as I plan to use this printer for final copies rather than drafts. The feed worked fine with medium quality paper. I have only printed a few pages but so far the print quality is excellent.
My only quibble with this printer is the wi-fi direct signal is weak so my laptop has to be in the same room as the printer to communicate. With my other Epson printer (7100 series) I can print from anywhere in the house.
Overall, I am satisfied with this printer and do not regret the purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was time to replace our old scanner/printer

Bought an Epson printer again..... to replace the Epson 725 printer that just couldn't print well ......... after 15 years :-).
Do: Take your time to unpack and set up printer. Read instructions, then use your mobile to set things up... just go step at a time... it will make sense.... then set up to your laptop or whatever computer you use. Don't: Rush the process.... others reviews have complained about it.... relax. Do: use correct papers and load inks according to instructions. Hint: Turning off the printer over several days does not cause problems... I simply touch the power switch, let things get settled and connected, then print my photos or documents without issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like easy set up! Beautiful printer, in reading the directions it seems fancy. I don't have paper so I can't speak to the handling of the proper. Connecting was easy and it seems like it will be fast.
