[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband was so excited to try out the Nespresso Virtuo Up because we had heard it that it was very versatile and made an amazing cup of joe. He's the coffee drinker in our family. He's happy to report that everything we read was true. After removing it from the packaging, setting it up was a breeze. Included with the Nespresso was a 12-pack box assortment of various flavors and sizes. The pods were so colorful it felt like opening Easter candy! They also included two 10-pack sleeves of their Melozio and Odacio formulas.
The Virtuo Up is compact and stylish at the same time. The water tank has a large capacity and will pivot 180-degrees around the rear of the unit so you can nudge it into limited space areas and the front shelf is adjustable for various cup/mug sizes.
There are a variety of coffee pods available and the machine will recognize them from a barcode imprinted on the pod. This gives each barista the versatility to customize a cup of coffee at the perfect temperature that is their creation alone. This is further enhanced by a Nespresso app that will pair with your Vertuo Up over WiFi.
The app is a bit confusing to use at first, so my husband recommends using any tutorials that are offered. Further, he's had a few times where WiFi in the house went down, or the power went out, and the app would not reconnect without crashing it. You also cannot change the machine settings without a WiFi connection. In those times you are left brewing only with the last input setting until you can connect to the app again.
There is a new “coffee creation” feature inside the app with this model. It essentially just adjusts the water level to make your cup stronger or weaker. You can also make the temperature hotter or cooler which can be ideal for iced coffee lovers. This only works per category of coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc.) - it is not a preference per capsule. If you want a coffee pod hotter, you'll have to open the app every time to change it.
The machine can be a bit noisy when brewing but it never outright bothered us to the point of distraction. Clean-up is a breeze. The used pods fall into pull-out tray that slides out for easy removal. All in all, once you get used to the maker, it is pretty easy to use and makes a good, delicious cuppa.

Amazing tasting coffee every time!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nespresso Vertuo UP Coffee Machine is absolutely incredible! It was very easy to set up right out of the box! There is an app to download that you pair the machine to and it has a ton of different information. From maintenance, instructions, recipes, and more. I love that I can make a variety of drinks right from home! This is very quick, it only takes about 5 minutes altogether to make a drink, depending on how you make it. It has a rapid 3-second heat-up time, as well as, a large rotatable water tank for easy refilling. The overall machine quality is outstanding! I'm still learning how to make different drinks with this, and am looking forward to making so many more. This really makes it so much fun to learn and make different ones as well. Overall, this makes coffee taste amazing! It's so smooth and fresh tasting every single time. I would definitely recommend if you're looking into trying this one!

Its water base rotates from side to side you can adjust it in addition to being a smart coffee maker it is very elegant and you can clean it super easy it is a coffee maker that we should all have

I’ve always loved Nespresso for the quality of their coffee, and this machine delivers that same café-style experience right at home. The first thing that stood out to me was the design. The Ink Black color feels elegant and timeless, and it fits seamlessly into my space without taking up too much room. What I truly appreciate is how easy this machine is to use. Overall luxe experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful product to be displayed on your countertop with maneuverable water tank can allow you to position the product however you’d like. However, I did notice that the cord on the actual product is only 3 feet long, which can be either limiting or require you to get an extension cord if you need to go further than that. I was able to connect/pair my machine to the app within minutes, and I love that you can see recipes so that you can make your own special specialty drinks.
Given the fact that you were able to customize the brew temperature and size etc., it really gives the user an opportunity to make their coffee the way they like. I have not had to do any deep cleaning yet or maintenance since it is new but I can tell that the receptacle to catch the empty pods will be apparently dirty since it is a lighter color.

Quick and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it makes making coffee so easy and stress free. I just put in a capsule, press one button, and it does everything for me. It automatically knows what size to brew, so I don’t have to think about anything. The coffee always comes out smooth with a nice layer of crema on top, which makes it feel kind of fancy at home. I also like that it can make different cup sizes, so I can switch between a quick cup or a bigger coffee. It heats up fast and doesn’t take up much space on my counter. It’s simple, quick, and always makes good coffee, which is why I love it.
