Great Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it for three weeks but so far we like this machine better than our previous machine. It’s much quieter than our previous machine and heats up almost instantaneously. The capsule being loaded like the original machine is much easier to close. The larger reservoir is a nice bonus.

Coffee stays in Trash

I returned it within 2 weeks of purchase. You will need to constantly clean the machine as it releases liquid after each use. If you have the other machines, you just need to worry about dumping the "trash" once it's full. Not with the new version. Not only does it hold the "trash" it holds onto liquid as well. Doing 2 pods of coffee, you can expect a shot of liquid in the "trash" that you will throw out. I actually started pouring in an espresso shot glass to prove a point, and it was when I made the final decision to return it. I couldn't fathom the amount of coffee that was being dumped in the "trash" with the used pods.

Makes hot delicious coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Vertuo Up machine for the past month and I really like it! It brews hotter than my previous older Nespresso machine. I think the coffee tastes much better as well. I really like the customization button where you can make stronger coffee, which is ideal for iced coffee or lattes. It is a bit loud when brewing and has a few more steps for cleaning up the used pod tray, but it is definitely worth it. I also like that you can use the machine with an app on your phone.

So excited…… then I used it!

When I saw there was a new machine out, that I could customize my coffee from my phone, I was excited to get it ordered. When I received it And got it all set up what a surprise. First, it’s much noisier than my current unit! Second, after brewing three coffee pods I removed the catch basin and to my surprise there was approximately 1/4 cup fluid in the catch basin. Guess that’s why they designed it to have its own fluid storage under the used pod holder. I currently have a Vertuo plus deluxe and have been very happy with it. Much quieter and NO water in the used pod container. Sooo, back in the box and off to UPS to ship it back for a refund. Guess things don’t always improve with a new model as I feel this is a downgrade. Save your money and buy one of the tried and tested units.

Does not work with 5G WiFi

Heads up to potential buyers! This machine does not work with 5G WiFi. This limitation is not decribed in any of the literature, and certainly wasn't mentioned to me at the store. After attempting to pair the machine with the app numerous times, I had to swait on hold for half an hour before I was able to speak with a technical advisor who informed me of this fact.

Doesnt connect to my new 2.4 GHz band it requires

Had to separate my wifi bands for this machine only for the Nespresso to tell me my password is wrong multiple times. What is the point of having this feature of it is this finicky and incomplete? Sending back for a refund if I cannot get the full potential for this price.

Same great coffee, just a little fancier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently upgraded to the Vertuo up and I have to say… I’m impressed.
My Vertuo Next served me well, but the Vertuo is making mornings feel a little extra fancy. Same great coffee, just feels like a bit of an upgrade in the daily caffeine routine. Easier to close, slightly quieter and easy to close.
If you need me, I’ll just be over here pretending I’m a barista in my own kitchen.
