Love everything!

When my previous double wall oven quit working while baking Christmas cookies, I was not excited about getting a new one. I researched online and asked a lot of friends about convection ovens. Then I found this oven -- it's perfect!! With both a convection and a traditional oven, it has everything I could want. In the first month, I've baked, time-cooked, warmed, proofed, and air-fried in it. I love that it syncs with my phone so I know when the timer goes off or the temperature is reached. I even love that I can see the weather for today ... and the next week on the oven. My only regret is that I didn't schedule the installation earlier; I waited to avoid disrupting the holiday activities. This truly was an unexpected and delightful holiday surprise!

does not get as hot as my old thermodor double ove

hard to clean manually. used one time for broil and can not get the glass clean tried everything called your cusotmer service they suggested Bar Keepers soft cleanser it did not do anything, am stuck with dirty glass in a new oven

We know that it’s frustrating when stubborn streaks or dirt just won’t seem to go away, especially when it comes to a brand new appliance. When it comes to cleaning your oven’s window, we first recommend running a self-clean cycle by following the instructions on page 17 of your owner’s manual, found here:

If the window is still showing signs of soil, you would next want to clean it with a soapy, damp (not dripping wet) cloth. You can also use a non-abrasive cleaner such as baking soda, Bon-Ami, or SoftScrub and a plastic scouring ball or sponge scrubber to clean heavy soil and grease stains. Please remember not to allow cleaner or water to get on the oven door gasket.

Lovely oven with lot's of features

We had to replace a well-loved Thermidor oven. This GE Profile double oven does not disappoint! It looks great and performed perfectly for Christmas dinner with lots of different items.

I have a 27” double wall convection oven. It takes a long time to heat to 350 degrees. The digital display is not user friendly. The touchscreen icon for the timer is extremely close to lower oven icon. Over Thanksgiving, I accidentally turned off the lower oven several times when trying to set the timer. This could be resolved with a software update? Both lights for upper and lower oven are on one icon so if you only want to see the upper oven you get both. Anyone else store items on occasion in your lower oven you would prefer guests not see? This was a cheap move on GE and annoying. For this kind of money and technology, separate light options should be possible. My oven was installed missing one of the easy glide racks and GE sent me one no problem. The customer service person was helpful and received my timer and light suggestions pleasantly. I have used the air fryer (need to increase the temperature and cook longer but successful cooks), convection bake -recipes take the maximum amount of time, if not longer, but they bake evenly. Convection roast - evenly cooks but takes longer than expected time. I have verified the oven temperatures with a separate probe I have had exposed in the oven and I am happy to report both ovens are calibrated as expected. The ovens seem to cool off quickly and take a while to come back to temperature so you must be mindful of opening the door and checking doneness. I have concerns about the oven fan cooling quickly and meats that continue to cook with the oven turned off using residual heat to finish the cook. This oven is larger than my previous GE profile convection due to better insulation and the extra space is a definite plus. A large roaster pan that would not fit in 1998 model GE Profile will fit in this one. After almost 2 months of use, I am use to how it operates but the timer icon and both oven lights operating simultaneously remain irritating.

Our new double oven is great, looks nice in the kitchen with other appliances, has an awesome WI-FI connector which is valuable for a busy family and the touch screen control panel is very attractive
