Coolest oven in town

I have been a GE fan for 60 years. My last oven lasted over 40 years. I have found that for longevity, no one make appliance like GE. I would buy this one again!

I choose CAFE Appliances for their Superior Performance, Reliability and Features. I also chose CAFE over other brands due to the Great Style and Design of their products. Oven performs great maintaining accurate temperature extremely well and Great Customer Service as well! The oven is very easy to use especially with the Smart App & WiFi Features. We absolutely love this oven and are no is the process of buying a new Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer next.

Beware of cleaning mode.

Well, I don’t usually write a review, however when the oven completely dies within 6 months I think it warrants a comment. Top oven was in cleaning mode when the whole oven stopped and touch screen went blank. Repairs failed, so the whole oven was replaced since it was under warranty. Thank goodness for that, but now
I’m a little apprehensive about using the self cleaning option. Not sure I want to take that chance, so might just have to invest in Easy Off oven cleaner!

Control Panel Glitch!

I had my GE Profile PKD7000SNSS for less than 2 months and the control panel began to malfunction. When I was at the end of broiling something, it would go blank and I couldn’t turn the oven off or control the timer or any function on the control panel. I had to go to my SmartHQ app to turn off my oven. When I had GE come out to see what was going on, they ordered a new control panel for me, but also said I should turn off the circuit breaker for a few minutes and try it. I did and it’s been working fine ever since. When they came to install the new control panel the repair man said he wouldn’t change it. It’s just a computer thing, and I’ll just have to turn off the circuit breaker if it happens again. It’s like rebooting your computer! Other than this, I’ve been very happy with my oven, but I thought people should know that this happens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The features and ease of use of this oven are excellent. The interface is intuitive and very easy to follow.
It is a 27" oven, but the inside is about 2 inches wider than my previous oven.
The Proof setting is a real bonus as I have recently started baking bread.
The ability to set a temperature from the app is very convenient and also a nice bonus.
I would highly recommend this product.

Well built Easy to use

This is a well built oven that has considerable more room than our previous 27" oven. The racks glide smoothly and the controls are easy to use. My wife is technically challenged and she operates it with no problems. I highly recommend this oven.
