Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had several Nespresso machines over the years. The most recent was the Vertuo Next which we found was somewhat hard to work the sliding lever on. As someone with hand problems, I had hoped I could make it work but it didn’t. We purchased the Vertuo Up machine and we couldn’t be happier with it! It’s so easy to work and if you choose to use the app with it to change settings it’s a piece of cake! The rotating water container is a huge plus! As always the Vertuo pods are delicious with so many varieties you’re sure to find some you like!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Design Details

I bought the Up to replace my third Next machine, as I can't seem to keep a Next working for more than a year. I also keep a Pop on hand as a backup because, as much as I love my Nespresso, the machines don't seem to last very long. I am a strict iced coffee drinker, and I use a large cup. I usually remove the cup holder, and everything works fine. With this unit, removing the bottom cup holder pulls out the entire capsule container, so it isn't a good option. The other problem is that coffee leaks into the capsule container when you brew, creating a bit of a mess when you empty it. One last thing I will mention is that the top of the machine is more of a champagne gold color.

DO NOT BUY

Just tried it out for the first time and after my third brew.. it brewed inside of the machine leaked everywhere inside, coffee grounds everywhere… not a single ounce of coffee made it to the cup… they need to redesign this so the pod goes horizontal not vertical you lose so much coffee
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great, but collection container needs redesign

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I love this machine, however the one major drawback is that the collection container for used pods is like a plastic net which fills the bottom with coffee. Taking it out and discarding pods is messier than any previous Nespresso that we've owned. Seems weird that this made it past the design phase.

Sophisticated Design With Exceptional Coffee

I am absolutely loving my Nespresso Vertuo Up and could not be happier with this machine. I upgraded from the Vertuo Plus, and the Vertuo Up feels like a meaningful step up in both design and functionality.
One of my favorite features is the Nespresso app integration. Being able to adjust the water temperature directly from the app is such a nice touch and really lets you customize your coffee experience. The Creations Mode button is another standout feature. It allows for a stronger, more concentrated brew with most pods, and it works exactly like the Expert Mode found on other Vertuo machines.
I especially love how useful this mode is for converting larger coffee pod sizes into a double espresso style drink. It gives me the flexibility to enjoy a richer, more intense cup without needing a separate pod, which has been a game changer for my daily routine.
The adjustable cup plate is incredibly practical and accommodates a wide range of mug sizes, from smaller cups to taller travel mugs, without any hassle. I also really appreciate the large 47 oz water tank, which means fewer refills and makes daily use much more convenient.
Design wise, the pearl white color variant is stunning. It looks sleek, modern, and upscale, and the compact footprint takes up noticeably less counter space than my previous machine. It truly elevates the look of my kitchen.
Overall, the Vertuo Up combines thoughtful features, strong performance, and beautiful design into one compact machine. I am extremely happy with this upgrade and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, customizable, and high quality Nespresso experience.
TLDR: Upgraded from the Vertuo Plus to the Vertuo Up and I’m extremely happy. Love the app features like adjustable water temperature, and the Creations Mode works just like Expert Mode on other Vertuo machines, making it easy to turn larger coffee pods into a double espresso style drink. The adjustable cup plate fits many mug sizes, the large 47 oz water tank means fewer refills, and the pearl white color looks sleek, modern, and upscale. Improvements Where it Counts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've upgraded from the Vertuo Next that unfortunately died after 3 years. So far, this has been a great machine. The larger water tank is one of my favorite things, as well as it being adjustable in location. The faster brew readiness and customizations are also a big win. The connectivity also seems to be more stable than the last model. The only thing I will say is worse thus far is the amount of discharge liquid in the trays that needs to be cleaned out, but that's a fairly small issue.

I bought this before Thanksgiving and was so excited. I love that I can make my coffee hotter, but the machine leaks into the pod collector. Mine grew mold because I was not aware that it was doing that. Now I have to take it out and dry it after every coffee, which is very annoying.

Virtuo Up Machine is Great but with a Flaw

I bought the new Nespresso Virtuo Up machine a month ago and the look is nice and the performance is good. It heats up and brews coffee quicker than my old Nespresso VirtuoPlus machine. The only issue I have with the Virtuo Up machine that made me take 1 star away is because this machine is messy and requires regular cleaing for the pod dispenser container. Their is much more leakage than my old VirtuoPlus which is annoying! I would almost take away 1.5 stars because of this. Overall the machine looks great and performs well.
