The Ultimate Speaker for BBQs and Get-Togethers
on June 16, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I've been taking it to family get togethers and one of the things everyone comments is how clear it sounds, bass is well balanced and it's not too heavy to carry around. Taking this outside for BBQs is great the volume is loud and keeps everything clear and let me tell you, it gets loud. The new controls on this are easy to navigate and easy to understand and I love that it has an optical port and you can now connect it to a tv. Does anyone have an outdoor tv? I can definitely see someone who DJ's using these for their setup. You can buy a separate stand and attach it on the bottom and you can connect microphones just like some other JBL speakers. All I can say is I loved it, my family loved it and I definitely recommend this speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Speaker!! It is very lightweight but the quality is stellar as usual! The sound quality is amazing and the options are plentiful! It lasts for a very long time on a charge and charges pretty fast! Looks really cool and matches the music! Love this speaker!

Great for Parties that are large or small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great party speaker that is easy to move around or just use as an everyday speaker. The speaker itself is a little heavy so it’s not something I would want to carry around but if you are going to be stationary for it works perfectly!
Once I got the speaker unpacked I connected to my iPhone and loaded up the JBL one app. The app found the speaker and did a quick update to the firmware. Within the app you can adjust the lighting affects or even turn them off. You also have EQ options along with a bass boost option. There is even MIC settings and guitar settings, I was only able to test out a microphone but that worked perfectly and I was able to easily make any adjustments through the app. With JBL products you have the option to connect multiple speakers together for additional sound. I was unable to try this feature since I only have the one speaker, but the reviews I saw online make this a great option if you plant to utilize a few of these for larger parties. JBL did include a standard cord for charging and it took only an hour or two to be fully charged.
The top of the speaker has buttons for power, menu, bluetooth, bass boost, and the JBL party together (connecting more speakers together). The volume control also has a built in screen for the menu items which include the guitar, microphones, battery, or lighting affects. They are easy to use and nicely laid out. The back of the speaker includes a splash proof cover for the charging port, removable battery pack and the additional inputs. The additional inputs include two microphone inputs one doubles for guitar hookup, an optical input, AUX in, daisy chain for speakers and USB-c. Within the JBL one app you can adjust what the USB C port is used for: JBL easysing Mics, UAC music streaming and recording, USB drive recording, and USB drive playback and charging out. JBL really went above and beyond to give you lots of different options for the USB port instead of just connecting your phone to charge or play music.
We were able to use this at our neighborhood block party. This speaker provided enough sound for everyone to be able to hear the music. Many committed at how great it sounded and how it filled the street with music, but that it wasn’t overwhelming and people where still able to talk without the music drowning everything out. We even got a noise complaint that it was too loud, however it was getting late at night and our neighborhood is very quiet. The battery lasted about 5.5 hours, but still had about 35% charge left so it lasted a very long time. This was with the lights, bass boost, and volume at about 75%, we did not try to conserve power at all and I was really happy at how long it lasted.
The lights are great, but the sound is fantastic on this party box. Everything sounds crystal clear with deep bass that can shake a room. I like that JBL included inputs so you can directly connect this to a TV if you wanted. This speaker is everything I wanted from a party box speaker. It’s loud and powerful, but still produces great sound quality, and it’s easy to move around with the included handle. I would not recommend this speaker if you plan to carry it around a lot for use as it can get heavy. If you are on the go a lot I would look for a smaller speaker or the next size down from this one. This speaker is more bring it to the place you want to use it and you leave it for a few hours and then pack it up and go.
Overall Im extremely impressed with all aspects of this speaker and it really is a joy to use. I started to use it now in the garage, hanging out in the back yard, or just inside the house when cleaning. The next party we have this speaker will be front and center as it’s perfect for that intended use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL has done it again! This portable bluetooth speaker is great. Not only is it easy to use and carry but it also delivers great sound. I love listening to reggae music with rich bass from this speaker while sitting on my back patio. Controlling the speaker from the app is a welcoming plus.

A universal powerhouse - loud, long battery, great sound, super-portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome! I cant believe this is like the second smallest of the JBL part boxes because it is pretty big! It puts out awesome and loud sound and the lights are really cool. I really like that you can use the JBL ONE app to pick a light profile and found the campfire one to be particularly cool. I also really appreciate that it has a removable/replaceable battery as it saves you from having to replace it just because the battery goes bad, but also then we dont make as much trash throwing things away too early. It has two mic or guitar inputs which is really cool, and it can even play music off of a USB drive it also has post holes on the bottom for you to use as DJ speakers and can be wired or tirelessly daisy chained together. Really feels like JBL thought of everything! I will say though thay the JBL ONE app can be quite glitch and had some issues that fixed with a re-install but should not have had to.

One of Harman’s JBL loudest. Not for Apartments or for Condo Spaces.
on June 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very heavy speaker with Bluetooth 6.0, Harman/JBL-Engineered Bassport, AT LEAST 2 Transducers (maybe with a small tweeter), approximately a 35Hz-20kHz range, *faithful JBL Signature Sound*, IPX4 Water Resistance (don’t immerse the product in water!), and covers that prevent all the female connectors from dust, water, and moisture. Be fragile with this product because the heft is not shock-proof. If you are a party-goer and if you don’t live in an Apartment or a Condo Space, then this speaker is for you even though this can be one of Harman’s pricier JBL Bluetooth speaker. However, with a TOSLink Connnector and many connectors, you can also do some Karaoke to a certain extent. This could also be suitable for amateur artists too. You just need to protect the bass ports from dust and moisture to enjoy a high wattage of JBL Signature Audio. Take care of this product and this party-style speaker will serve you WONDERS.

Get This Party Started—Use the big turn knob in the middle top part of the speaker to easily turn on and off and control the sound and lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This high-powered speaker gets the party started. Size—It is a medium to large size party-box that delivers bass boom and pulsing light displays. It is easy to control using your phone with the recommended apps. Value—The audio and visual controls are intuitive. The cost is on par with the expense of a quality PA speaker. This product holds value with the easy to use features and convenient handling. Connectivity—It offers a battery compartment which houses a replaceable battery and it comes with an optional-use five-foot power cord. Portability—The weight is manageable with the grab-and-go handle. Noise—You can turn on this party box and jam as loudly as you can. I love the sonic integrity of this product and the digital and analog sound controls. It comes with impressive distortion-free headroom and decibel levels.
