This matcha set is beautiful and thoughtfully made. I love the matte black, and the simplicity of the design really complements it well. It makes for a great cup of matcha!

Great set, with some caveats

Beautiful set overall. There are some defects (I actually had to request a new base because part of it looked unfinished/chipped where you can see bare ceramic) in the finish, but seeing that these are probably handmade, that is to be expected. My biggest complaint is that the milled strainer, while beautiful and substantial, does not sift the matcha effectively, clogging up, probably due to the thickness and how few holes there are. I've shifted beck to a regular tea strainer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
