It's a beautiful set which is to be expected. But it's just not quite as functional as I had hoped. The other reviews have mentioned the sifter and spoon just miss the mark. But it sure looks nice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been looking for a simple, high quality matcha setup that is easy to store and I couldn't be happier with this kit. Each component is beautiful and durable and I love having the base to easily pull it out and put it away whenever needed.

Sifter and Spoon - Meh.

Don't get me wrong, it truly is aesthetically pleasing, but the sifter and the spoon are just not it for me. I feel like the spoon is just a little too short, and I find myself using a regular mesh sifter instead.
