The set looks great! My biggest issue is the strainer that it comes with does not work well which kind of defeats the purpose of having this nice set. The matcha powder gets stuck in the holes of the strainer so you don’t get the full serving and it becomes a hassle to clean. Because of this I have to resort to using a smaller strainer which is frustrating. Seeing the set with a large, purpose made strainer was one of the biggest things I was looking forward to with this set, so for it to not work well makes the set a bit of a show piece rather than a useful set.

The strainer is difficult to get matcha through. It’s too shallow and doesn’t have enough surface area. The strainer is also difficult to clean. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I love my Matcha kit!

I love my Matcha kit! It makes it so easy in the morning to make professional grade Matcha in my own house and test out new flavor combinations. It also makes saving money even easier. The instructions were easy to follow as well. Can’t wait to continue trying out new flavors.

This set was a big let down for me. . . I was REALLY excited for it. Biggest problems are: 1. The sifter on top holes aren't big enough, meaning sifting quality matcha takes FOREVER and constantly gets stuck and clogs the hole. I can't even get my matcha to fit through this thing - and I've tried on 3 different high quality matchas.
2. The outer bowl matte texture is really uncomfortable, and the bowl itself isn't quite wide enough to allow for vigorous whisking.
The tray is nice, the chasen is standard, the scooper I like. But to only like the scooper and tray out of this whole set, I was pretty bummed.
