Excellent, Solid Dehumidifier for Garage Use

I use this Frigidaire 50-pint dehumidifier in my garage where I store a lot of personal items that I want to protect from humidity. I chose the 50-pint size specifically for the garage so the tank holds more water and doesn’t have to be emptied as often.
I let it run for about two weeks before writing this review so I could really see how it performs. It has done a great job so far. My garage used to feel damp at times, but since running this unit the air stays noticeably drier and the space feels much better overall.
I also like that you can easily set the humidity level, and the washable filter makes maintenance simple. After a couple weeks of use, I’m very happy with how well it’s working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly didn’t realize how much I needed a dehumidifier until I got this one. It’s made a huge difference in my basement and even helps circulate the air like a fan, which is a nice bonus.
It’s surprisingly powerful and pulls a lot of moisture out of the air pretty quickly. I also love the design of the water container—it has a built-in handle that makes it super easy to empty without spilling everywhere.
One of my favorite features is the app control. I can turn it on or off without having to go down to the basement, which is so convenient. The wheels are also great for moving it around easily.
Overall, I’m really impressed and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good dehumidifier!

It is very quiet and the connectivity is great .Very easy to move around with the built in casters The humidity in the garage can fluctuate ! So I set the target humidity setting and empty as it fills up . The 50 quart capacity will make your life easy ! Minimizes how often you need to empty it ! I highly recommend getting one !!

50 Pint Frigidaire dehumidifier

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had multiple different dehumidifiers over the years. This one stands out because it’s compact, it’s relatively quiet, and easy to operate. What I really like is the water collection tank is not too huge so that it’s too heavy to carry. This makes the whole unit easy to move around as needed. I use it in my basement and while it hasn’t been excessively humid yet it’s done a good job and keeping the moisture level down.

Went with the wifi model and liked it more than I thought I would

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was interested in this dehumidifier for a sitting room off my kitchen that can get a little stale. The previous dehumidifier died after 12 years and we decided to get a substantial upgrade this round. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s been great! Definitely does the job of just making the area more comfortable to be in. The fan isn’t loud but even so, there is a quiet mode which it only uses the fan on low, but so far I’ve never needed it more than just testing it out. The portable nature of this unit has already come in handy as I keep experimenting with where I like it best in the room or when I move it closer to the door to empty the tank. It’s sleek and minimalistic which is what I like with it being so prominent. I also like that the buttons are on the top, makes it easier to access if positioned behind the chair without requiring pulling it out.
The tank is heavy when full so if you’re placing it somewhere extremely humid, I’d consider being able to place it on continuous drain. I would not want to have to manually empty it a lot.
What I really like is the app control for it. I especially like that it shows me the temp in the room. Never knew how much I’d appreciate knowing that until this app tracked it. There is also a timer and a child lock feature if that’s something you’d need.
