Had to return to Frigidaire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last two years I tried different brands of humidifiers only to be disappointed by the one year life span of each unit. They looked good and had glowing reviews, but did not match the manufacturers claims. So we return to a proven product. I would highly recommend this humidifier, it gets the job done and will last longer than one year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome addition to our home. We have struggles with trying to keep humidity down but it's always around 55 to 65. Its cost a fortune because my air-conditioner is always over cooling to bring the humidity down and my husband always complains because he's freezing. Well the battle ended on plugging this machine in. We got a full tank after 12 hours and now it's full again but after 24 hours. So we are doing so much better. Humidity now at 45 and cool and comfortable. I just wish of course I'd gotten this sooner but couldn't be happier. Eady to run, love the wi-fi, easy to empty and even on highest settings not too loud very quiet on lowest settings. Highly recommend.

Love the features

If you’re dealing with a damp basement or just want to keep your air crisp and comfortable, this thing is a total workhorse. Here is why I’m a fan: Serious Power: It pulls up to 50 pints of moisture out of the air daily. You can actually feel the difference in the room within just a few hours. Smart Features: The Wi-Fi connectivity is a game changer. Being able to monitor the humidity levels and change settings right from my phone makes it so much more convenient than the older manual models. Maintenance is Easy: It has a washable dust filter that’s super easy to clean, and the continuous drain option means I don’t have to constantly worry about emptying the bucket. Great dehumidifier!

Perfect indoor climate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a very solid dehumidifier with good build quality and strong performance, but the mobile app experience needs improvement.
The unit arrived very well packed, and I appreciated that there was no sticky tape residue on the surfaces after unpacking, and setup of the physical unit was straightforward.
One thoughtful design detail is the retractable carry handle, which makes moving the unit around much easier.
The Wi-Fi setup instructions could use some refinement. The manual doesn’t mention that you need to press and hold the Mode button to enter pairing mode until the initial connection request times out. Without that step, the app won’t connect, and it took some trial and error to figure this out.
The mobile app itself could also use refinement. When the unit is set to Auto mode, there’s no way to adjust the target humidity in the app. To change it, you have to switch the unit to Dry mode, set the desired humidity, and then switch back to Auto mode, which feels unnecessarily clunky.
Another limitation is that there appears to be no way to formally register the product through the app, which is surprising for a Wi-Fi enabled appliance.
Despite the app shortcomings, the actual dehumidifier performs very well, runs quietly, and appears well built. If I were rating the hardware alone, it would easily earn 5 stars.
Because of the limited and somewhat confusing app functionality, my overall rating is 4 out of 5 stars. If Frigidaire improves the app experience and documentation, this would be a near-perfect product.
