Dehumidifier works...WIFI system stinks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Frigidaire/Electrolux customer for many years. Pryor to this dehumidifier purchase, I own a Frigidaire fridge and two air conditioners. Thay have never disappointed. This new dehumidifier works well (since it's new, only time will tell how it holds up) but the WIFI system/software is horrid. It constantly loses it's connection and has to be reinstalled only to lose it's connection again. I have tried all the so-called "remedy's" to solve this issue (even going as far as trying different smartphones) but the problem still exists. I will remain a Frigidaire customes due to the solid construction of your products....but I will not be purchasing anymore of your WIFI "smart" appliances until that system becomes dependable, and the failure of that WIFI system is the reason I only posted four stars on the rating.

So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only been using this for the past 1-2 months. The air conditioner does work very well and puts out a lot of cold air. It is nice that you can adjust the vent. It is a little loud though even on low. I don't think we would ever turn it up to med because we wouldn't be able to hear each other in the other rooms. I do wish though that the vents closed completely. Our old one had this feature which was so nice, so not much air could come in when it is not in use or outside smells, like cutting grass. We have not used the heat yet, of course it is summer, but I did try it once and it put out a good amount of warmth.

Frigidaire 50 Pt Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new unit is removing moisture in the basement very well. However, this unit seems to be a cheaper version of the previous Frigidaire 70 pt unit I am replacing. My old model displayed the current room humidity level. The new one does not. You have to use the needless app to find out the actual humidity. The wireless light keeps going off and on even though the router is in the same area. The controls on my old unit were easy to read and the lettering was in black print. The new unit's lettering is small and in a lighter print making it difficult to read. The unit works good but definitely not a fan of the using an app and not being able to view the current humidity level while at the unit.

Quietly does the job we expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With every dehumidifier we've owned in the past, my husband would eventually turn it off because the noise drove him crazy. He hasn't turned off this Frigidaire dehumidifier even once while sitting in the same room where it's running. That's nothing short of a miracle! It keeps the room comfortably dry and cool, and unlike our previous units, it doesn't heat up the room with its motor.
