Device is effective but loud

This is a very good device but I would only recommend it to people that will keep it in their basement. It is far too loud to have in a bedroom, office or living room. The manual says 49dB on low, but when you are next to the device it is 60dB (I measured with my own meter). Therefore if you need it in a bedroom or office, I'd recommend having it across the other side of the room from you, and even then it's still quite loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit has an attractive design and fan isn't too loud. I can"t apply a 5 star rating due the problem that it does not calibrate steadily to the set humidity level.

Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my finished basement to replace my old Frgidaire unit. What I like about this new unit is the built in feature to pump uout the water in to a drain so I do not have to empty it out every other day. It has continuos pumping when the tank is full.
