Excellent AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC is excellent! It was really easy to install. The instructions were very straightforward and easy to understand. The AC works great too. It does not make a lot of noise. It is perfect! The app is really easy to use and navigate as well. I love that I can wirelessly control the AC with an app. It makes life so convenient. The AC feels really cool and refreshing. I like how easy it is to change the temperature right on the machine or in the app. I would highly recommend to others!
I would recommend this to a friend!

To enable Wi‑Fi pairing, follow these steps:
1.Press and hold the Mode + Fan buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds until the Wi‑Fi icon begins to blink.
2. If that doesn't activate pairing, unplug the unit, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in and repeat the process.
3. Make sure the Frigidaire® HVAC app is installed and that you're using a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network.

Quiet, Compact and Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Frigidaire 3-in-1 Connected Portable Room Air Conditioner (14,000 BTU) in my master bedroom, which is the one room in the house that doesn’t heat / cool as the rest of the house does. In the summertime we typically use 5 fans to cool the room down for a comfortable nights sleep. This cools the space within just a few minutes, feels much more comfortable, even on the hottest days. It runs very quietly which is a huge benefit for a good night's sleep.
Installation was simple and took only 15 minutes to set it up. The instructions are easy to follow and understand. The controls are intuitive, whether you're adjusting settings on the unit itself or through the connected app. Switching between cooling, fan, and dehumidifier modes is easy and seamless.
The box arrived a little disheveled, but its packed so we'll there was no damage done to the unit. Overall, I highly recommend this air conditioner if you're looking for powerful, quiet, and flexible cooling in a compact package. It would be great in any small to medium-sized room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Unit

But I now have *two* Frigidaire units because the first one worked so well. This new one, like the first, is not hard to setup (you only have to be a little handy to fit the slide into the window), it's reasonably quiet, and it's very effective at cooling/drying a ridiculously large room with 13' ceilings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to setup. Cools medium size room pretty fast. Kind of loud though. Having the extra dehumidifier function is nice if you need it. Wi-Fi Connected with The Frigidaire® App makes it easy to change the temperature and turn it on and off without having to go directly to the unit and it works with anazon alexa and google home so you can control it with your voice or setup routines. Compact, portable design and handles makes it easy to move around if you need to change rooms or locations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Appliance, So-So Wifi App

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The A/C itself has been great. Installation was pretty straightforward although it did require me to have a jig saw to get the supplied window materials to fit a standard sized window. I would have preferred some more foam material, but the supplied amount was adequate for the job.
The iPhone App is a different story. Initial setup was straight forward, but it seems to rely heavily on an active connection with Frigiaire's remote servers which is strange for an A/C unit that operates in the house. It makes sense if you need to control it from outside your home, but not at the expense of controlling it inside. Several times I believe Frigidaire's remote servers went down which prevented the app from working at all. Then most recently there was a partial outage which allowed the app to turn on the unit but didn't report the accurate internal room temp. I spent an hour trying to figure out why the A/C kept turning on when the internal temp of the room was below target. Finally, realized it wasn't changing at all.
Currently, all is working well, App and Unit, so maybe this was some growing pains for Frigidaire on the server side. Still, I'd like to see a future version of the App have the ability to work locally if the remote servers are non responsive. Or, at least, a server status page so users could confirm that's an issue.
Would I recommend. Yes, because the unit works great, cools our room well, has not filled up with condensation, and CAN function if when the App is down.

Loud but effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The portable air conditioner is quite loud when it’s running, but it does a good job cooling down my small bedroom. The window coverings weren’t the right size for my bedroom window, so I had to improvise and create my own covers using styrofoam and cardboard. The covers were too long if I tried to insert it vertically, and far too short if I tried to use them horizontally.
The setup itself was fairly simple once I got the hose secured in place. There is a dehumidifier function, but there is no container for water so you’ll need to attach a garden hose and route jt to a drain.
I would recommend this to a friend!
