Love my new air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought many Air conditioning units in my life and I can tell you that this unit is one of the best ones I have had! I love the fact that it shuts down every once in a while to get the room cooled down . It keeps two of my rooms cool and it's also not a noisy air conditioner it just hums as it cools off the room's. I keep it at 68 ° and it's cold. I would definitely recommend one of your thinking about buying this unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast and cold. This is hands down the best AC I’ve ever purchased. It cools a room quicker than I expected and actually works better than our central AC unit, which honestly surprised me. The air comes out strong and stays consistent instead of tapering off after a while like other portable units I’ve tried. I’ve been able to run it during the hottest part of the day and it still keeps the space comfortable without struggling. Setup was straightforward, and once it was in place it was ready to go with no hassle. For the price, I don’t think there’s a better option out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent choice works great live by the beach don’t usually need air-conditioning but it’s been hot especially warm in evenings . Needed something to cool the place down and it certainly does the trick. We are very happy with this purchase.

Terrible

The vibrating/grinding noise this thing makes is unbearable. I was sleeping in a different room last night (left it on for my dog in the living room to drown out fireworks) and I had to wear ear plugs because the noise was still so bad. Then I wake this morning to find water/mystery liquid all over the floor around it (it's definitely NOT dog pee). I clean it up, then every time I roll the unit a little bit, more drips out. This is ridiculous! I've only just starting using it less than 24 hours ago.

A game changer for Allergy season!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the FHPC142AA1 3-in-1 Portable AC about a week ago, and honestly, I am already loving it. The basic fan function of the unit is already strong enough to cool down the room during the springtime (and it was only on the lowest setting!). It is very quiet as promised and is no louder than hearing a microwave in the background. I haven’t had a chance to fully utilize the AC portion of the unit yet since it is still quite cold where I live but I just know I will get a lot of use out of it during the upcoming summer months! I love that it can be used in many different types of windows which make it convenient to move from room to room.
But what I really love about it is that it’s not just an AC. It also has a dehumidifier, which has been a total lifesaver on those sticky, humid days. Now that spring is almost here, the air is becoming muggy and stuffy. With this unit, the air feels lighter, not muggy, and my place just smells fresher overall. Plus, it has an air filter, which is a big deal to me because I have seasonal allergies and a dog. I’ve noticed way less dust floating around and my husband and I are sneezing much less! All sinus problems practically disappeared within an hour of turning the unit on!
One of the coolest things (no pun intended) is that it’s Wi-Fi connected. I can control it from my phone—turn it on before I get home, adjust the temp without getting off the couch, all that good stuff. It says that it is compatible with Google Home but when we tried to connect it to our Home, it kept giving an error message. The app itself is pretty basic and allows you to turn the unit on/off and adjust the temperature. Overall, the app does what you would need it to do but I wish we could’ve had it connect to the app.
Setup wasn’t hard, and it’s on wheels so I can roll it into different rooms when I need to. It’s not the smallest thing, but totally manageable.
All in all, if you’re looking for something that cools, dehumidifies, and helps with air quality—without needing to mess with a full on window unit—this one’s a winner. Definitely worth it!

Cools Fast: This thing cools my place down so quickly! On hot, sticky days, it turned my sweaty living room into a chilly oasis in like 30 minutes. It keeps the temperature nice and steady, so I’m not constantly adjusting it.
Super Quiet: It’s honestly pretty quiet, which is awesome. I can sleep with it on or watch TV without cranking the volume. It’s like having a fan humming softly in the background.
Cool App: I can control it with an app on my phone, which is so convenient. I set it to turn on before I get home, and it’s already cool when I walk in. Plus, it works with voice commands, which makes me feel fancy.
Does More Than Cool: It also sucks moisture out of the air, which was a lifesaver during humid days. My place felt so much fresher. Oh, and it can heat, too, so I’ll probably use it in winter.
Easy to Move: It’s got wheels, so I can roll it from the living room to my bedroom without much hassle. It’s a bit heavy, but the wheels make it doable.
What’s Not Perfect:
It’s Kinda Big: This unit is pretty chunky, so it takes up some space. Moving it through tight spots or over carpets isn’t super easy, and I wouldn’t want to lug it up stairs.
Window Setup Was Annoying: Setting up the hose and window kit took me a bit, maybe 20 minutes. The instructions weren’t the clearest, so I had to fiddle around to get it right.
Uses a Lot of Power: It does the job, but I noticed my electric bill went up a bit. If you’re running it all day, it can add up.
Overall:
I’m really happy with this air conditioner. It’s powerful, quiet, and makes my place so much comfier, especially in the summer heat. The app and extra features are a nice touch, and it’s great for moving between rooms. Sure, it’s a bit big and the setup was a hassle, but once it’s going, it’s awesome. If you need something to cool a decent-sized room and don’t want a loud, clunky unit, this one’s a solid pick.

Portable air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I will say it was extremely easy to install. I live in a mobile home that really doesn't have great insulation, plus living in Florida. I have this sitting in my living room/kitchen which is roughly 250 square feet. My living room gets full sun all afternoon and into the evening. The Frigidaire portable AC keeps my room a nice comfortable temperature without having to use extra fans. This replaced a window unit that was only 2 hrs old that still worked but I had to run 2 fans plus my ceiling fan to keep the room cold. I've been running this portable for a few weeks now, and I will have to say that not only works wonderful but I haven't seen that much of an increase in my electric bill. It runs quite that I can sleep right next to it without it keeping me awake. It is very easy to move around. What I love is that during the nice weather times it will be easy to remove the vent to open my window. I highly recommend this unit. If I hadn't just purchased another portable for my bedroom a month before buying the Frigidaire. I love this unit better than the other one. One of the best features is that when it reaches temperature it cycles down and won't turn on again until it starts to warm up again. It's well worth the cost.
