[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the looks of the 36 in Fridgidaire cooktop with it's sleek design, matte finish, and clean lines. It has many great features such as 5 burners, a power boost option, a timer, and an option to "bridge" two smaller burners to use with a griddle or other large pan (no more dragging out a different appliance to cook pancakes). The heating of the burners is fast and even. It features two large burners which is very nice when cooking for a large family or a crowd. I'm very pleased it has a timer. No more running to set a timer on a different appliance. I have enjoyed cooking on this cooktop. It has met and exceeded my expection on performance. However, I was disappointed on how easy it is to scratch the matte service. The first time I used it the pot scratched it. All the features are great! I hope to get many years of service with this appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire really created a wonderful stovetop here. We got the 36" induction stovetop. This seems to be really intelligent. It looks really great, that is the first thing you notice about it. It has something called matteguard which lets you clean your stovetop super easy. It helps to prevent scratches and smudging. It is really very easy to clean. I love the power panel with easy to operate features. It has a bridge burner so I can use two burners simultaneously. I can use a griddle on it and make pancakes for everyone. It even has a feature that will keep your food held at a warming level when you are done cooking so food won't get cold. It is really easy to install, it took no time at all. It does seem to make a warm up sound but it goes away. The absolute only thing that I am not 100% crazy about is the metal bar on the front of the stovetop, but that is only esthetics and has nothing to do with the function of it. Boiling a pot of water on here is so fast, WOW. I do really love this stovetop. Now I have my desire to cook more often back. If you want to treat yourself and be spoiled in your kitchen, I would say this is the stovetop to get.

Highly recommended! Best cooktop we have used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've gone from a gas cook top to this new electric cook top and it is amazing. We can't believe How fast the water boils on this unit. That is probably the best thing about the induction is the cooking speed. , the sleek finish is so easy to clean, literally just wipes off clean. We love the flat profile without knobs. The power boost is amazing. We have had literally no issues with this Cook top at all. It senses the pan to make sure it's compatible with this unit. And as I said, the cooking is flawless, the heat is perfect. This unit is highly recommended. Especially if you ha e a gas unit and your thinking about a change! You won't be disappointed.

Why did I wait so long

The bridge burner along with the other 3 cooking areas are appropriately placed. I can have multiple cookwares and each can heat up without burning the handles of the other cookware.

Standout Safety Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still getting used to this cooktop. It is very sleek and modern looking. We upgraded from a Frigidaire Professional with the knobs on one side. I like that this has no knobs to clean around as it is all touch control. I am still adjusting to the controls and do kinda miss them being on the side but just a learning curve to work through for me. It is nice having an induction cooktop. Everything heats up very quickly. Just a word to the wise: don’t be naive to think it will immediately cool down as soon as it is turned off. The burner area will still have some residual heat so you will still need to be a little cautious. Yes if you remove a pan for more than a brief period it will stop heating and that is a big advantage. And there is a light that will stay on that will tell you the surface is still hot until it has cooled down. You can definitely tell that safety is a top feature with this cooktop. You can lock the cooktop while you are cooking so your controls don’t inadvertently get changed while you are using the cooktop but you can still easily press the on/off button when needed to turn off the control. There is also a child safety lock feature that you can use if you have kids or in my case a crazy cat that might accidentally press some controls. I haven’t tested it but there is also a key stuck feature that will sound an alert if a control is held for too long and then turn off the cooktop if the control is still held after the alert. Again, I think this might be tested in my house by a crazy cat. I also appreciate the timer feature. So easy to set the timer right there on the stovetop without having to use another device or appliance for that. It is the small details that matter. Overall this definitely feels like a high end product that gives your kitchen an upgrade and elevates your cooking experience. Frigidaire continues to deliver standout kitchen appliances!
