Adjusting and learning how to love my new cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is beautiful. I’ve had it for only a week and am still in the adjustment period. I love the look and placement of the control knobs. I’m not a fan of the white (on) and red (hot) indicator lights UNDER the knobs as they are difficult to see. Also the burners seem slower to heat up and must be turned up higher than I’m used to cook on.If you turn a burner on for 30-60 seconds and turn it off the burner is extremely hot to the touch but the red indicator light is not on so there is a possibility of pain /burn if you touch the burner. I haven’t used all of the 5 burners and I realize now that 4 was and would have been sufficient. I miss my old Frigidaire cooktop and am hoping that I will grow to love this one someday too.
