So far, so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use the new AC a few times since it’s been installed, but it seems to cool things down quickly. The only question I have about it is that it seems to register a “room temperature” lower than the actual room temperature once the AC starts cooling. It’s almost like it’s measuring the temperature inside the unit itself, rather than the room temperature. But we’ll see how it goes the rest of the summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good ac but one thing I don’t like is the venting is set to replace the air and there’s no way to re circulate the air. This makes it harder for the unit to work.

Ordered it for the heatwave, wasn't disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked up the Fridgidaire 8,000 BTU as an upgrade my 5,000 BTU bedroom unit prior to the New England heatwave and wasn't disappointed. Unit is reasonably quiet, runs well well, fans move a solid amount of air. All around good "install it and don't worry about it" unit. Very happy with purchase.

An Excellent Air Conditioner with Convenient Features

The WIFI features are convenient as I can manage the temperature while away from my smartphone. We purchased two: one for each bedroom, and they are able to cool our entire upstairs. Worth the money!

Fridgedare FHWW084TE1 Air Conditioner

This is my third Fridgedare window AC unit. First ran until it screamed & died. Second ran until front grill froze over and started to spit ice chips leaking refrigerant. Both were standard models so this time went with smart model. It's pretty neat specially after I started using and found the phone app knows temperature of the room and adjust for it. Last model the remote did that now app along with other things. Alexa is also cool you can turn/off adjust temperature using your voice. We always say if you want a depadable AC unit but one made by a refrigerator manufacturer.
