Ice Cold A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summer is right around the corner and the heat will be coming but the weather has already given us a taste of whats to come and so I needed an air conditioner. Thus I found this new air conditioner from Frigidaire that is perfect my living space with features that are sure to make my life easier.
This A/C is 14k BTU and is capable of cooling up to 700sq feet which is more than enough for my space. The A/C unit itself is quite heavy at 70lbs for the whole box and must be picked up by at least two people. Unboxing the unit was easy enough and it came with all the necessary stuff and instructions to install it in a window. Once the A/C was turned on it started cooling the room quite fast to the point that we had to turn it to low after about 15 minutes. On the lowest setting the sound of the A/C is quiet and not enough to annoy but on high it can get a little loud which is to be expected honestly. I like the digital display that allows me to see the temperature from a good distance and the buttons on it are easy to control. Some of the cool features of the A/C is that it has a pureair dust filter versus just a regular screen filter to filter the air and it also has Wifi so that I can control it from the Frigidaire app when I'm not home. The remote that comes with it is easy to use and works effortlessly. Another cool feature it has is the ability to be controlled by Amazon Alexa or Google home.

Great Family Room A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were in need of a new air conditioner since our current one was getting quite old and so we happened to find that this new A/C from Frigidaire is perfect for our needs. Upon receiving the A/C we understood that this is a hefty one that my husband and I had to lift together. Unboxing the A/C was easy enough with us both doing it and installing was not too challenging. The A/C works quite well and can make the room really cold which will be great for when the real summer heat arrives. My husband liked all the technical stuff that can be done with it such as connecting it to Wifi with the Frigidaire app that can be used to control the A/C but for me the remote was good enough to use it for controlling all the functions of it. I also love the simplistic yet elegant design of the A/C and the easy to use buttons on the front of it.

Energy efficient, quiet, and COOL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 14,000 BTU Window Room Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi by Frigidaire has by far exceeded my expectations! The AC unit was simple to install with detailed and helpful instructions that made the process very easy to get the unit installed and running within minutes. Once installed, the app WiFi and App setup were also easy to complete and allows for the full operation of the unit from my phone without having to be in the same room as the unit. This allows for the unit to be powered on/off and the temperature and other settings to be maintained very easily with the least amount of hassle possible! The WiFi operation is a nice feature as it allows for the room to be cooled before I ever step foot into it!!! If I forget to turn off the AC, I can simply turn it off with my phone to keep it from running when it is unnecessary! The scheduling of the AC through the app also is a VERY nice addition that allows for me to set a schedule to allow for the AC to operate only when I need it to, making it a seamless operation and keeping my house cool at all the right times! The only drawback was that the AC allows for a filter to keep the air quality clean, but it was only mentioned in the operation manual and not actually included in the package. A nice touch would have been to at least include a sample filter with the unit on purchase to allow for the benefits of the filter to be seen, therefore allowing the end user to actually WANT to purchase the filter... I honestly have NOT purchased the filter, and there is a 99.9% chance that I never will, since it wasn't important enough to actually include in the box.

Powerful Cooling but louder than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Frigidaire FHWW144TF1 for a few weeks now, and it’s proven to be a great addition to my home. It cools my large living room and connected kitchen area quickly and maintains the set temperature well, even during hotter days. One of my favorite things about this unit is the Wi-Fi capability. Using the app to control the AC from my phone makes things so much easier, especially when I want to come home to a cool space. It also connects to Alexa, which is super convenient.
The remote is simple and intuitive, and the different modes like sleep and energy saver actually make a difference. I also appreciate the filter reminder feature—it’s helped me keep the unit running efficiently with minimal effort. If there’s one drawback, it’s the noise level. It’s louder than I expected, especially when the compressor cycles on. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re planning to use it in a bedroom or a quiet space.
Despite being on the louder side, the Frigidaire FHWW144TF1 is a strong, reliable air conditioner with excellent cooling performance and modern smart features. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to cool a large room or open area efficiently.

Quiter than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frigidaire window AC unit is much quieter than I expected. The unit can cool up to 700 square feet. It can be set to Celsius or Fahrenheit. The box includes everything you need to install it. The unit includes a simple remote control, but you can also connect it to the Frigidaire app or even smart speakers. The unit installation may require two people. The overall setup is a breeze. The box includes a fair amount of weather stripping, which I liked. Once you plug the unit in, it defaults to 72°F on the eco setting. It has eco (energy saving), cool, fan-only, and dry. There are control settings on the front panel as well as an LED temperature number and indicator light for the settings. There are two levers to direct the air flow. The air temperature can be set as low as 60°F or up to 80°F. The unit cools quickly (results may vary). You can also add an allergen filter aside from the standard dust filter on the front panel. Overall, I am very happy with the product so far.

Smart AC for a Smart Home

This unit has been a lifesaver during the hot summer months. It's incredibly easy to install and use, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is a game-changer. Installs fast and keeps me cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire window unit MODEL # FHWW144TF1 is fairly heavy so it will take 1-2 people for installation. We installed the unit within 30 minutes. Just unbox, place unit in window from the outside, and set up the provided side panels. The unit can be controlled by the WiFi app or the easy to use remote. It is easy to connect to Alexa or Google home, just follow the steps on the app. You can change it from Eco, Cool, or Fan Only and it also has a sleep timer. Another great feature is the multi-direction AirFlow, so I can be comfortable any place in the room. The filter is easy to get to when it’s time to lean. To clean filter turn off air conditioner ,open the front of the unit, take out filter, clean under running water, dry, and place it back in the unit. It runs quiet, so it doesn’t disturb your sleep time and the display lights turns off quickly so no lights are on either. It cools up to 700 square feet and keeps my bedroom nice and cool. I highly recommend this air conditioner, I feel it is a high quality unit that is made to last.

Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time installing and using a Frigidaire window AC unit. The box included everything you needed for the installation. Installation was a breeze, but it may require two people to set the unit in the window. The unit includes a basic button interface and a remote control. You can also connect the unit to the Frigidaire app or a smart speaker. The unit has a removable dust filter, which is easy to access on the front panel. The unit has 5 settings: eco (energy saving mode), cool, Fan only, dry, and auto. When you first turn on the unit, it defaults to Auto and 72 F. You can adjust the temperature from as low as 60 F to 80 F. The unit also has a child lock option. There are adjustable vent louvers so you can direct the airflow. This unit can cool up to 700 square feet. The display lights up, showing the temperature as well as lights indicating what mode is set. The lights dim after a few moments of use. The unit isn't excessively loud and cools quickly. The remote is basic but works well. I liked that the box included a decent amount of weather stripping as well as an instruction and installation guide. This unit will come in handy this summer.
