Review for Frigidaire 14,300 BTU Window air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A/C keeps my daughter’s one story apartment comfortably cool. It is quiet and looks nice. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is heavy enough to require a bracket for support but does not come with one.

Cools Okay, But Does Have a Few Problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 14,300 BTU Window Unit is a nice looking AC, it puts out enough cold air to cool the area I need to cool down, with the help of a ceiling fan so the whole room is the same temp. But it is doing some unusual things, when I used it the first time I went through all the Modes to see if everything was working, and it all seemed fine, but now after a few weeks when it's in cool mode the fan works like it should in 1, 2, 3, but 4 doesn't blow any better, 3 and 4 are the same, also in cool mode the fan setting, (usually 3) will cool the room down, and then sometimes it will slow down for a while, and then speed back up kinda like it's in Eco Mode, but it's in Cool Mode and should stay on the fan speed I selected.
The Fan motor, and Compressor are working fine, I think the problem is in the Electronic Controller part of the AC Unit.
I want to know if I can download or update the firmware, or can they just send me the replacement Electronic Part of this Unit, and some instructions on how to install it, I imagine it's probably behind the front cover, and just plugs in somewhere?
Other than that it seems to operate fine..

Great AC
