[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall decent quality just installed it so kind of early it seems to be working perfectly. Couple of things could be done better. The expanding side panels are held in to the air conditioner housing with a t slot. The problem is the t-slot is not the whole length of the air conditioner so there are gaps along the sides letting letting heat / cold inside. The side panels could be a little better quality. The side panel flanges should be a bit taller too . The screw holes that hold the panel in place a very close to the edge of the window. My second concern is that the very fragile fins at the rear of the air conditioner have no protection whatsoever. The external case should cover these with louvers to allow heat to escape. These things are going to get all bent taking the air conditioner in and out of the window.

Great air conditioner

Overall a nice unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit was relatively easy to install, looks nice enough and has done a good job cooling down our 625sq ft bonus room over garage. The wifi works great with the app and the ac is very quiet.
The reason I score it a 4 and not a 5, is for 3 small reasons.
1. Unit came dented. Still works fine but the dent on side made the window cover on right side not sit 100% flush to the AC unit.
2. The metal bracket on top of AC that sits against the window and keeps it from falling through, is not as high in front as I would have liked. With window sitting flush against back and lower part of bracket, the front doesn't come up high enough on window for the hole to go through the wood and secure the AC, so I had to rely on bracket that keeps window from opening.
3. Side window accordion style covers that expand to keep air and bugs out are a little challenging to attach perfectly. The right side of mine seem to be slightly not tall enough to stay in the plastic bracket as secure as id like, but again, its workable, just not perfect. I assume I'll see some random small bugs in the room at some point.

Great window a/c unit
