Absolutely love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used a few different dehumidifiers before and have also used a few different air purifiers. I very much appreciate that this product does both! My husband has a lot of lung issues and so when the bedroom/house is too humid he starts to have a difficult time breathing and sometimes needs to use an inhaler. Since we got this we've just kept it on so that it keeps our room at 50% and my husband can really feel the difference! He's been having a much easier time breathing in general and getting to sleep. The noise level doesn't bother us either, it tends to go on and off throughout the day but is not a nuisance really. I also appreciate the ease of emptying the container when it's filled up with water. As well as the fact that there are different modes and options you can choose from to best suit your needs. I think it's a tad larger than I would prefer but honestly it's been doing such a good job of keeping the humidity level down that it's definitely a necessity for our home now in my mind. Would absolutely recommend!

Great appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a regular dehumidifier for about 5 years. I was anxious to try my new Frigidaire dehumidifier because it also has built in allergen protection. It has 2 filters to do the job. This way 1 machine can do the work of two. The unit is very quiet. I like this. The display is bright, easy to read and easy to understand. The unit has a 60 pint capacity reservoir. It will drain on its own or can be manually emptied. It has a large water hose discharge. So this means it has to empty less often and when it does, it's fast.
A very unique and helpful feature is the large handle on top of the unit. This really makes it easy to carry around and move to another room is needed. I have never seen this before. It also has casters to roll the unit. This is great.
You can set the unit to the humidity level that you desire. The unit will hold this level and come on when the humidity in the room changes. On my old product I had to set it daily. I also like the 3 speed fan. This allows you to move the air quicker or slower to reach your desired air quality.
The unit is white and not too big. It fits in a small area of my bathroom.
Another handy feature is the ability to control the unit through Bluetooth through an easy to understandable app.
Filters are easily assessed to replace when the dehumidifier gives you notice.

A literal breath of fresh air!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Florida which is super humid, our primary bedroom is the most humid room in the house. The room held on to so much moisture, and always held on to odors, we have a 13 year-old 4 pound Yorky poo you would’ve thought we had a large dog in our room. We were so impressed by the amount of moisture and odors that this dehumidifier removes. It is literally a breath of fresh air. I can completely tell the difference when we use it and when we don’t use it, the air is so much more clean and fresh when we use the dehumidifier. As a test, I turned off the dehumidifier for the night and woke up in the morning to sinus congestion. It’s amazing how much allergy relief that this provides me I would definitely recommend this to anyone who lives in a very humid climate or suffers from allergies. It’s an amazing product.

My son used to have constant nosebleeds but after a few weeks of using this they have almost stopped! It looks nice and the remote is a plus! The dust air filter is awesome and it helps to keep my household air clean! I like that it reminds me to check the filter becaus I always forget! The location for the filter is conveinant and easy to access.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier works well. I try to check it every night so I can empty it before it is full. When it is full, it beeps loudly and it is heavy with water. I find it difficult to remove without spilling water when it is full. It has a reusable filter and a light that indicates when it needs cleaning. I couldn't get it to connect through Wi-Fi. The digital display is easy to read. It has different settings, so you can have it run continuously or set it to a certain percentage of humidity.

Exactly The Product We Were Looking For

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a male with some respiratory issues, which are exacerbated by poor air quality and high humidity brought on by cold, rain-felled air. Usually I would experience wheezing and coughing, which would keep me up in the night. With this dehumidifier, I no longer have these issues in the night.
An extra benefit is that the exhaust air keeps the room warm when it is cold. However, it can also keep the room too warm if it is already warm outside.
The water reservoir is also a nice feature that is easily accessible, especially if you place the dehumidifier in an easy to access location. The reservoir feels very contained and is built to prevent spills, which is great.
The only thing I think that would jump this product from great to amazing has to do with the indicator lights on top. Since we keep this in our bedroom at night, the lights are fairly bright and illuminate a fair portion of the room. However we usually just cover the buttons and lights with something square and solid, which resolves that issue. But it would be nice to have a night mode or something of that sort.
Otherwise, great product, highly recommend. Does exactly what you want from a dehumidifier with all the ease of accessibility and use.

Good for my home

What I like the most is that I can control the humidity level, depending on the room that I am. The set up was super easy.

best dehumidifier

I needed it for some places in my house that collect the moisture like in my laundry room area and in one of my bedrooms so I use it in the bedroom on the first day and it worked perfectly. There is no sound to this machine. It is so awesome and that clean air that comes out of it is amazing. The filter is easy to use and change and clean. The water is easy to dump out. The size of the unit is not that big. It also has a handle to lift up the whole machine instead of you trying to roll it or push it to where you wanted to go you can pick it up by the handle, which I think is an awesome feature. I also like that you can download it and connect it to your phone and turn it on and off when you want. The directions are extremely simple to understand. Very easy to set up. I also liked that it clean the odors in the air and it also has lights to tell you how the air quality is in that room. So I can’t wait to use it in other bedrooms and other areas of the house to see what the differences are in the air quality and the moisture so I definitely recommend this Frigidaire gallery dehumidifier and I definitely recommend this product if you are having moisture problems in your basement in large areas cause the bedroom that I put it in is extremely large and it worked extremely well and it also pulled out some dust that was in the air. my honest review is that it definitely recommend this dehumidifier if you need one in your home in your basement in your bedroom or even if you don’t think we need a dehumidifier. It’s really good to have if you have kids or animals Where it can clean the air in your house. So that is my review because it is very simple and easy to understand how to use the Frigidaire gallery dehumidifier. I definitely recommend this Frigidaire gallery dehumidifier.
