[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It pulls so much water out of the air every day, and runs very quietly. Can’t believe I didn’t buy one sooner! It would be great if they updated the app to notify you when the tank needs to be emptied.

Excellent dehumidifier

Performed better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took little to no time to setup and start working. My humidity level was very high and within 4 days it's now at normal range. The app is also very intuitive and gives you great way to keep tabs on humidity level as well as how well the humidifier is working. Plus is not only is it taking care of the humidity, but also purifying the air, which is very important to me since my grandkids are always over. I hoping this cuts down on dusting too with the great air filter. Highly recommend this unit.

Eliminates Humidity and Purifies Air!

After a week with the Frigidaire Gallery 2-in-1 50-Pint Dehumidifier (model GHDD5035W1), the difference is night and day. This unit pulls a remarkable amount of moisture out of the air—often filling the bucket twice a day—and its built-in allergy filter noticeably freshens the room; even my sister, who was visiting, commented that the air felt “lighter” only a few hours after I switched the dehumidifier on.
As a tech enthusiast, I love that I can track humidity levels and adjust settings via Wi-Fi in the Frigidaire app, which also sends an alert when the bucket needs emptying. The appliance operates quietly enough to fade into background noise, and the matte white finish looks surprisingly sleek against my walls. Because my house is large, one unit covers the main floor beautifully, but I’m seriously considering adding two—maybe even three—more units to achieve full-home coverage and keep every room feeling this fresh. Great Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved to humid North Carolina from dry California. While it’s beautiful here, it rains quite often and we’re not yet used to the humidity. The Frigidaire Dehumidifier is now an essential appliance in our home. It was very easy to set it up to Wi-Fi and the settings are nice. I have also found it runs quietly and is effective. Very happy with its performance and that it knocks out the humility fast!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this dehumidifier. It was so easy to set up and it has wheels! I've left it on for fhe past 8 hours and I feel the air feeling lighter and fresher. I like the built in air purifying filter and the timer. This thing runs pretty quiet and I love how there is a fan option. It comes with a removable water bucket which is easy to take out. It also has a wifi feature which is a plus as I forget to turn off appliances. The buttons are easy to presss and its very simple to usem Overall I recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase a dehumidifier.

Frigidaire dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dehumidifier. I use it in my kitchen area by my kitchen sink. It has solved the high humidity in my kitchen area. It was very easy to set up. The only issue I had was once it used full of water and shuts down it’s quite heavy to lift to empty. I figured out a solution I fist sit it in the floor than on top of the unit. I then grab it on the bottom on both sides and am able to pour it in my sink. I love it beeps to let me know when fill. I empty it about 3 or 4 times a day. I live in hot and humid Texas. I highly recommend this unit. Very effective and sold my humidity issues.
Previously I used another dehumidifier . I wasn’t happy with it . This Frigidaire dehumidifier works harder at getting all the humidity out of the house. We even seen a noticeable improvement with the air quality in our home now. Our central AC system doesn’t have to run constantly . Furthermore we no longer have a musty smell around the kitchen sink area.
Another reason to purchase this dehumidifier is it’s quite. You barely hear it running. Our old one was loud and annoying. This one checked all the boxes for us. Got the humidity normal and was quiet. Saved our AC system from over working. I highly recommend this dehumidifier.
Best feature is being able to use WiFi to access it. Convient.

Refined interface to a necessary home appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used a dehumidifier for years in our basement during humid periods of the year. Our previous dehumidifier worked ok, but was loud and had to be manually configured, which is a pain as its in our basement. We choose the Frigidaire Dehumidifier for its quiet operation and wifi control. The set up was so easy, the app really made the process seamless. Once setup, the large bucket filled after a day or so and I was notified immediately. This was a huge advancement, as previously we'd have to check on it regularly. We are going to get a drain hose to avoid dumping it going forward. We leveraged the mobile application to set a custom program to run when humidity hits a certain level. This worked perfectly and we are excited to be notified of any errors via the mobile app. The wifi/mobile app functionality is a game changer. The size lends itself to being able to easily move between rooms on its wheels, which provides some nice functionality. One bonus feature was the Indoor Air Quality Monitoring, it's nice to be alerted if there are any air quality issues.
