Quiet Cooling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several window unit air conditioners in the 19 years of owning this home, but the Frigidaire FFRE123WA1 12,000BTU unit I recently purchased is by far the quietest. I was fortunate to find the unit on sale just as the weather was warming up. The cooling capacity is unparalleled, as one would expect from Frigidaire, but it was the quietness of the unit that really impressed me. Yes, the unit has all of the bells and whistles, like an Energy-Star rating, washable filter, three fan speeds, ECO mode, remote control, and programmable timer, but I wasn't expecting to be able to watch TV in the same room while it was on. Thank you Frigidaire for giving me my living room back.

Frigidaire Fridge and Window A/C both good!

So we tried our luck again, bought the A/C so we can run it on our 5000 watt generator when our (unreliable) power goes out. Test ran it for an hour and am impressed with the smoothness and quiet operation (for a window unit). The packing protected it well, and the intall seems well thought out. Love the long power cord too. Did buy an extended warranty cuz well, you know nowadays.....
