[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just installed this unit the other day it replaces an 8000 btu unit. that died after 12 yrs. This unit seems to do the job. It's fan is loud even in the low setting and the unit does sweat a lot. Too complicated. the biggest problem for us the directional louvres as the do not angle enough to create a flow for us.

Sweating on the appliance is normal due to the air conditioner blowing cool air into a room that has warmer air that is humid. It works amazingly well!

overall happy given the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i am currently content with my purchase... however i had a few small issues with ordering....i was told it would arrive in a few days, then got an email saying it would be at least a month. i called and waited i think almost an hour before i got someone and was told that last email was incorrect. thankfully i received the AC the next day. it works pretty well, i'm not sure it really covers the square footage it says it does, but i'm staying cool for the most part so i'm good
