Best machine!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many things to love about this new machine! First, it is beautiful! A lovely cream color with champagne trays and lever. Small but mighty and despite the small size, it has a larger tank than my previous machine. Much easier to load a pod. Heats up FAST! Very happy with my purchase.

A Clean Up Pain

We have had this coffeemaker for a month.Coffee is very good. Clean up is a pain. Capsules fall into the container and leak creating opportunity for spill when getting to the sink. In addition everything has to wiped out before reassembly. Too much work with poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Vertuo Machine To Date!

I have had a Next machine for several years but I struggle with the latch (arthritis) and it is a big and noisy machine. I bought this immediately when I first saw it because of the pod loading and am very pleased.
Positives:
Machine is easy to get set up and easy to open to insert pod.
Nespresso has ironed out a lot of little annoyances the old machine had.
- easy to run a quick shot with no capsule. this was possible on old machine but not easy.
- easy to load pod with little effort.
- easy to "do the green light" aka the concentrated shot.
- Water tank moves from side to side to fit in tight spots
- App easy to use esp. for customizing pods and descaling
- App MUCH easier to connect than my original Next...(don't ask)
Negatives:
- the sides of the drip tray are a little low and it fills up and is difficult to carry to the sink without spilling.
- the bottom of the used pod holder gets wet from shallow drip tray and can be messy

Over all a vastly improved design and highly recommended by me and I have owned all the previous vertuo models except the pop.

Discarded pod holder always full of leaked coffee

I do love the machine but my issue is with the pod holder after coffees are made. So much liquid leaks into the discarded pod holder. Ive had multiple Nespresso machines this has never been an issue .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loving It So Far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this machine! I drink iced coffee, so coffee creations mode is a game changer. My only complaint has been some type of malfunction where the pod maybe slipped out of place, and most of the coffee ended up in the used capsule area. The coffee that ended up in my cup was extremely watery. I lost about 5 good pods to this, and this is my only reason for deducting a star.

My reasons to give it three stars is I have been a customer for many years now I have had other machines and got the Nespresso virtual up for Christmas hat had been replaced multiple times, but it’s still leaking water. I returned it and went back to a Nespresso virtual next, but also returned that one and went back to the Nespresso virtual up because I love the taste of the coffee better on this machine, but do not like how it spells water

Controllable brewing temperature and volume!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Vertuo Up to replace an original Vertuo Breville machine which gave me good service until recently when it grew very loud and started leaking. The Vertuo Up provides a couple of major improvements to the old machine.
1) It brews coffee at a much higher temperature. This was a weakness with the old machine, as I like my coffee hot. With the old machine I had to pre-heat the coffee cups to compensate.
2) The Vertuo UP accepts the larger pods that can brew 12 and 18 oz coffee
3) The mechanism that punctures and loads the pods is easier to use
4) The new machine can connect to my WiFi to allow control from my IPhone. With the Nespresso app I can control brewing temperature and brewed cup volume. It is also useful for maintenance procedures and getting coffee recipes.

The machine has a compact footprint on the counter and easily fits under the kitchen cabinets, even when the pod loader is fully extended up.
Before making my decision to purchase I visited my local Nespresso Boutique where I was able to compare it to other models and try the machine out before buying. It was a great experience and sealed the deal. I have no purchase regrets.
