Fun Camera, Bummer of an Experience

Super bummed to find out all this time later that very shortly after I placed a pre-order for mine last year, they then released a version with a cold shoe mount and an external mic jack. Seems like something that would have made sense to include from the beginning, and being so soon after those of us that pre-ordered feels a bit shady. I was already a bit frustrated that the lens cover was something I had to purchase separately(and only comes in the bundle). Really like the intention of the camera but these two things have left a bad taste in my mouth regarding any potential future purchases with this company.

I loved using this camera- but the audio was completely unusable and muffled- and when i plugged in high quality microphones, it sounded worse.
I reached out to get this fixed, but they said theres nothing they can do.
No fixes because they ALL do this!
Every CS-8 has bad audio, and a useless auxillary input!
Very dissapointing.

This has been an incredible way to capture the everyday moments. I have two little boys (3 & 1) and I find this such an easy and screen-free way to capture the moment without losing the moment. I find the video footage to capture much more emotion and joy than just a photo. I take it everywhere with me and am so happy with the purchase!
