I debated this purchase for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger… and WOW. Best decision. It captured our life so perfectly and turned moments into something we’ll always look back on. If you’re on the fence—this is your sign. Do it!!!

Quite a fun little camera and definitely feels very nostalgic. However, after getting it, we realized that while everything/everyone I had seen talking about it claimed it was screen free, it is in fact not. When you look in the viewfinder, there is a little screen in there, you don’t actually look out through a viewfinder. I found that quite disappointing as it is touted as allowing you to “be more present.” But that’s just not the case when your eye is glued to a tiny little screen. I got it for my husband and he likes it anyway, even though he was also disappointed by the screen. It’s fun for making short little videos and we have just decided to aim at first and then take our eyes away and just hold it in place so we aren’t missing actual fun moments. At least with the old digital video cameras the screen was visible without getting your face right into it so you could actually watch what was happening.
We also thought it would be a fun “screen free” camera for our kids to play with, but since they have to be totally in it, we haven’t encouraged that much yet.
Also was a bit disappointed with the construction. It is all plastic. It would have been cool if the silver parts were metal.
All that being said, we do actually like it, just feel it is misrepresented and a bit overpriced for the quality. Thankfully I got it on sale so I don’t feel as bad about it. I’m guessing they will end up lowering the price as the hype dies down and people realize what the product actually is.

It’s strange getting this mail from you just now. I did enjoyed the camera for a week or so. Yesterday they broke my car and they stole the camera and a drone I had in a bag. To be honest I am really heartbroken cause I really fancy your camera filming my daughter six months old and a project on a beach also.
I will order one new again in the next days.

I bought this in January and had a bit of a learning curve. The camera is pretty straightforward and the filters are good, but the battery life can be poor and the standard memory only lasts for 30 minutes, although that can be changed. Overall great product with some particulars to get used to.
