I am loving using it so far! Its actually very user friendly and it really does give you nostalgic vibes. Like other reviews, the only issue is have is the sd card- having to unscrew to change out the SD was definitely an oversight in its design function, but that wasn't enough of an issue to not give 5 stars otherwise. Shipping was also relatively fast.

I love the fact that it’s all digital. Most cameras in this style use film. Movie film intimidates me. It’s difficult to develop and the splicing is no easy task either

It's a great proof of concept product, I'm really looking forward to the next version whenever they make one. Pros: easy to use, footage looks cool & grainy. Cons: the trigger feel is really cheap/weak. it's not super clear when it is actually recording, grip handle is a little short.

We bought this camera this winter and we absolutely love it! While initially my motivation for purchase was for my kids to have a screen-free video camera, I use it way more than they do. In the last 4 months I have documented trips we have taken, a special birthday party for a friend, and our average every day lives. The CS-8 is so easy to use and the video quality is far better than I expected. And it is a conversation starter! People are always so interested to learn more about this camera!
