Amazing beautiful camera, I love the retro finish, the simplicity, no complication to use it, it do the job perfectly, but more important, the feeling to have a "super 8" camera again in my hand, It is just powerful, ". . . an elegant camera for a more civilized age"

I love my CS-8 so

I love my CS-8 so far! The only downside is how quickly the battery gets drained but overall I love the settings it offers, how light it is, and the amount of storage it holds. So many of my videographer friends have had questions for me about this too because they were considering getting it. I highly recommend it!

This is a great movie camera. Its fun, its unique, and draws attention. The retro movie camera is a great idea and still uses modern tech.

This is a great camera overall- I’m having fun with it! A few suggestions for a possible version 2:
- Threaded lens mount for diopters, lens hood and lens cap.
- Mini jack for an external mic (the built in one pics up too much noise from hands on the camera and is not great)
- more weight added in the handle to provide balance and make it feel more substantial
- Separate frame rate from the filters- so combining them the way you want is possible. One control for frame rate (single frame, 18fps, 24fps, 30fps) and one for the filters.
- An option for the trigger to lock, so that I can get myself on camera.
I know these suggestions don’t match the mission statement of the camera- but I feel the potential is there for a “pro” model that could attract another customer base for you.
Great job overall!
(Also- I am a professional stopmotion animator who got my start using super8. If you ever do decide to add a single frame option I’d love to test it and make some animation you can show)
