My mother in law was showing me videos of my husband and his sibling growing up from her film video camera and wanted the same nostalgia feel for my kids. This camera shad exceeded my expectations. It is not only user friendly (my six year old loves to record) but also gives the perfect old school vibes I was looking for that you just can’t get from a Cell Phone.

We love everything about this camera, our family’s only wish is to have an option of the sound of a film reel rolling as part of the background, and also an option to have the green date and time on the top corner of the video like VHS home-videos.

I preordered this early for my son as a Christmas present. I was disappointed when they went on sale. It’s wrapped and under the tree but I wish I had held out for the sale. Missed it by a few weeks

This thing is so much fun - only issue is why does each trigger pull create a new video file?? It would be so much more fun if it was like an actual old school super8 / video camera where you end up with one big file, not 100s of little ones.
