To start off, thanks for such a great product! I have shot a couple hours of footage and love the results. Just shot footage of a live band and they are looking to get a music video from it!! Wooohooo!!
Easy to use and handle, lightweight, nibble, and didn’t get fatigued after hours of handling it. Shoot-N-Go, Shoot-N-Go, Shoot-N-Go!! I Love It!!

Suggestions for 8 Pro:
1- A true cold-shoe mount on top.
2- Smoother/Slower Zoom In/Out.
3- External mic input.
4- ExtraCredit-Lens that can Focus.

The concept of this is great. For me this is what I was looking for something that grabs nostalgia vibes and works like a Super 8. There's 3 things I think you could tweak and it would be better. 1. Make a fish eye attachment for it and market it towards people that film skateboarding/snowboarding that would grab them. 2. Include a strap for it so that it is easy to mount up and sling over my shoulder. 3. Lens cap. I am so paranoid this thing will get scratched. Otherwise I'm content with what I paid for what I got and have been playing around with it for a week now.

Still experimenting with it. Hoping to be able to use for creative b-roll for academic level video productions. Close-up and in good lighting it performs adequately. Wish there were more vintage type filters to choose from.

Got my CS-8! I love the experience of shooting it. Sound is not the best though. But it‘s really making me go out there and shoot videos. One needs a steady hand when using this.

. . . it has vintage using/looking vibe I hoped for, yet adaption of framerate & photo mode eg would be cool if they can be added in future updates. So far it does everything I expected, in a vcery fun way to use, which was the main reason of my purchase

Better than I could've imagained

Oh my Wow. My expectations have been exceeded.
I have previously purchased the first iteration of the camp snap camera so already knew I would like the CS-8 but I wasn't prepared for how amazing the camera would be. The build whilst bewing plastic has a premium feel, the switches and buttons are solid and the weight of the camera is well balanced simillar to a super 9. The digital interface is clear and consice when used though it is rarely needed as the filter and ratio options are accessaible on the outside of the camera via physical dials. When switching filters or ratio, it is quick and seamless. Zooming in and out on the camera is achieved by. using physical buttons also, there is limited to no delay from pressing the buttons to the zoom of the image. Upgrading the SD card was simple and easy and downloading videos to a Mac or PC is simple as plugging a cable it.
If you are unsure if you would like the camera or are questioning the price, then I can tell you it is worth the price.
If i had one minor suggestion, it would be requesting if Camp Snap could consider making a stand to display the camera when not in use.

The camera worked straight out of the box.
It would have been nice if you could download a full instruction manual.
The camera did not come with a lens cap, not having a lens cap could mean The front of the lens could be easily damaged.
The electronic view finder is very low resolution. Other than that it looks a fun camera.
